[ ISSUE SOLVED ] Alltel mms software
 

What software shoudl I be looking at for picture and video mail with Alltel? I have Kaos' take 5 installed (its great!) and I noticed that someguy mms is on there. I presume I cant use this with alltel, or I just dont know how.

so what application should I be looking for (and configuration)? does anyone have a link/thread? how can I remove someguy mms if i cant use it?

i am currently using the take 3, but im probably going to try the take 5 here in a few days. but i have alltel too and i use lennySH_Alltel_arcsoft_3.0.26.12
i dont know the actualy name maybe someone does? but thats what the properties say it is

just use the dcd carrier cab for alltel and you will be fine.

ok i found and installed the dcd carrier cab for alltel. but im not really sure what it does. I dont see any new applications, looks like it added another alltel data connection in addition to the one i made. was it supposed to do more than that?

The dcd carrier cabs just change your data settings and such to the default settings from your specific carrier so that your internet and such will work.

smms can not be removed frm take 5 it is in the rom.. take 5 was made for sprint... take 3 was last 1 i made for multi carrier support...that being said you can run take 5 but no support other then sprint will be given...

thats cool, i would have only removed it for cleanliness anyway. take 5 runs ridiculously fast, its amazing.

lennySH worked like a charm and im all set with picture and video mail.
