in my case, I filed over a month ago and still nothing in the mail, my mom filed 2 weeks ago and she received one of her checks today, wtf?

i filed jan 31st was sent out.... got my state march 5th and federal march 6th...

For the past two yrs i've used turbo tax and had the chk direct deposited (E-filed) and it only takes about 8 day.

it's an abbreviation of "i owe you"

basically them saying you can't have your money right now, but we promise you'll get it eventually

something isn't right, my mom and one of my sisters filed the same day(2 weeks ago), my mom's check was only like $140 bc she doesn't really work(she got it 2 days ago), but my sister's check should be of about $3500 to $4000 and hers didn't come yet, so i guess the state/government are only issuing checks they can afford and putting on hold the larger checks...........this sucks.

actually DASHY...the hubby just got his about 3 weeks ago and he got 3,600...he paid a lot of taxes with coca cola so they gave him back all that was deducted from his checks....too bad for coca cola though..he just switched over to Pepsi cuz they offered him better money,more days off, and a better position ;) yaay for me :yahoo: lol...

i wasn't sure of how much she's getting but it's definitely between $3500 and $4000, somewhere in the middle probably, anyway WHO ELSE GOT THEIR TAX RETURNS ALREADY???

to get the state check it was about 3 weeks with an efile in michigan and got the federal the next day on a rapid refund.....if you can wait for the federal for a few weeks dont go rapid refund cause you lose money......

my liittle girls mom got back 5600.00 and she only makes 28000.00 a year but she writes of day care and of course she claims our daughter
