I just wanted to toot my own horn
 
I just wanted to toot my own horn . Friday I celebrated 2 years of sobriety! This is a bid deal for me.Life is ok.One day at a time. It works if u work it.

At first I didn't want to say anything. I sometimes feel embarrassed about the hole thing.After thinking about it, I just wanted to let someone out there know if they were going through the same thing as me They are not alone.

hey there's nothing to be embarrased about....my dad was an alcoholic throughout my entire childhood..until he got arrested for having like 6 DUI's and a suspended license...he did about 3 years in Jail and when he was in there he made a promise to all of us that he was gonna change and well its been 7 years since...and he couldnt be better :) i see YOU guys as very strong people..because ive seen how hard it is to kick the addiction...so with that said..i applaud you for your awesome strength and for sharing this very personal part of your life :)...kudos to you buddy :)
