i think its a good concept..but im not wearing all that crap..lol they need to stream line it majorly..then think about how long a conventional cell battery will last.

I really dont see this as practical for "cell phone" or PPC use. I see it as a much more practical for home and office. I know that I, for one, really dont want to be walking up to a wall to work with my PPC. Or when driving. All the things that the cell phone/PPC is perfectly capable of doing now, wiht a touch or two and/or a voice command or two. IMO a great idea, fabuloous advances, just not sure that its really the thing for this area.

I think we're not looking at the very big picture. What I think they're trying to accomplish eventually is a full integration with the BRAIN! Kind of scary if you ask me. With a simple and small projector attached to say your bluetooth headset, you could do the projecting and your eyes would be the camera, and gestures could get much more sophisticated if you're tapped right into the brain. All of that stuff now is just the caveman prototype (sorry GEICO cave dude). Kind of like moving from the old brick cell phones that rarely worked to and HTC Touch Pro today. I never thought I'd have GPS in my phone some day! But, what they're talking about is even beyond....integrating a hardware device that can access info to be manipulated by your brain's natural and familiar tendencies. Very Minority Reportish.

that shiat goes hardcore!!! and like they said, this is just a press release showing their basic bare bones bulky working model. I am quite sure that they will make it to be almost unnoticable to someone who just happens to be walking by or talking to you. One question though. Did anyone happen to catch the bleach in your toilet paper comment? ouch. i guess that's the "non-ecological" cure for one's dislike of the brown eye.

i peed a little when i saw that. the only issue i was thinking is they were saying it being $300 for that bulky ass necklace. not to mention if you guys didn't notice the guy at all times had on a backpack (most likely the battery). true this opens up possiblities but if they unlock this fo reals its gunna be a pain in the ass because there going to end up going to see who can get the smallest setup... which is gunna mean $$

anyhoo i do think it's awesome, the concept is great, the world is your touch screen, imagine poking some random stranger in the back and have the excuse of "sorry i was just dialing a number" or watch videos reflected off of someones ass, the possibilities are endless! as far as powering the device i'm pretty sure technology would have come up with a smaller more efficient battery by the time this is actually in production

Man I was with it until she said brain implant lol. But this is really amazing stuff...you could walk up to someone and it has loser written all over them.....lolol. I can't wait to see how this goes!
