Black word correction bar driving me nuts
 

Ok, I dont know what is called, but when I input anything using either the physical or the touch keyboards, there is a black bar that forms at the bottom of the screen, where the word correction selections are. I have turned everything off, using the XT9 Settings, and the Input section, on all the keyboards i have turned all that stuff off. but it keeps comming up, and and keeps annoying me by keeping the last word i typed in there, so when i start typing again, either in another text, or surfing the web, or whatever, it starts that sentence with the last word I typed, and it just really screws up what im typing. What is it called? and more importantly, does anyone know how to get rid of this thing???? It is so frustrating that it makes me want to gouge out that section of screen! Any help will be appreciated. BTW I am using Juggalos rom on this one, but it was also in Mighty rom, and kK's Loaded rom, so it isnt rom specific i think.

go into your input settings and turn it off.....word completion is what its called.

You can also just open up the stock keyboard and click on the button [ABC T9]; make sure it's set to ABC and you should have nothing pop up... worked for me anyway.

Thank you so much lordhelmet... i can type again!!! I looked in every setting 4 friggen times, and that one switch..., on the keyboard i never use... uhg! , and i thought i was becoming proficient on these things... guess not really... lol
