A bit frustrated
 

Ok....In short, I had to hard reset my device (of course just after I had gotten it just the way I wanted it!).....Got everything re-loaded and things were peachy....EXCEPT that not every time I soft-reset, I lose my assigned soft keys...i have used two or three different soft key switchers.....I have been searching in vain for a HTC guardian etc with no luck.....I am using a Cricket ROM written by to0_v3 that the guy used to flash it before I knew anything...

I would simply re-flash to another ROM, but I really have not found anything that I really like....I find that I like simple roms that then I get to play with...

So any suggestions outside of HTCGuardian or SprintGuardian or any other guardian thing that I might be looking for? I am driving myself nuts!

Ive used advance congiguration for keywapping work like a charm in my 6800, should try it key swapping woulb be under settings hope it workss..

Thanks to both!

SkTools didnt hold....even though it says a soft reset is required to set the settings, after doing so, the soft key reverted....I will be trying advanced config here this afternoon......

I wonder, and this might be a bit uninformed, if there is a registry entry that is not being changed by any of the programs (keyswop, soft key manager, sktools, advance config) or if it is somehow embedded in the, i think its called the extended RAM or ROM (where the customizations go).....anyone perchance know how to get into that and see if it can be altered or if i might have to flash a new ROM?

Edit: I have gone through sktools regexplorer attempting to find something that says "softkeys"or something similar....if there are anysuggestions on what to look for, I appreciate it greatly.....I went through all 4 or 5 initial folders and looked in the ones that I thought were the most likely....

Hi i know this is kinda off topic but i really need help... My Mogul wont stay on it keeps cutting off right in the middle of boot-up. Ive did a hard reset and even updated the rom still no help just keeps shutting off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

dont hijack another thread and make your own after doing a search for your problem first.
