[ ISSUE SOLVED ] Question about my backlight
 

ok since ive installed a new theme on my touch for m2d, my backlight normaly shuts off after 10sec, now it jus stays on , on dim until i turn it off wit the off button, any solutions?

go back into settings menu/system/power icon and adjust ur backlight back to 10 seconds

i just did this and all it does is dim the light like b4 but it doesnt shut off on it own like it use 2..sucks cuz if i get a text at night it will stay on untill i see it

wait, im confused, isnt that what u wanted... for the backlight to shut off?(cuz that what happens, it just gets dimmer) or ur lookin for the screen to cut of completly? if thats the case, follow the instructions i provided earlier, ut in that same menu (right under he backlight option) is the screen shut off option... make sure hat check ox is selected, and set the time for however long you want it to shut ff for, and you should be done....

do you have it on or off of the charger when you're getting this result?

either way go to start>settings>system>power, then select the advanced tab, and checkmark the "turn off DEVICE if not used for" box for both when on battery power and when on external power. (or whatever custom settings you prefer. Just make sure that it's for DEVICE and NOT BACKLIGHT. When you're selecting these settings or it will only dim and not turn off.
