Increase Volume on TP
 

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was a way to increase the speaker volume on the touch pro, like an application or a registry edit?? I know about audio booster, but that is only for the headphones. Im looking to just increase speaker volume. Thanks guys :)

Here are 2 zip that should help with your volume and speaker.!


Louder speakerphone .csv file has been uploaded!!! simply copy the audiopara3.csv file into your windows directory on your phone over writing the current one and soft reset!



Install cab onto DEVICE ONLY and NOT to storage card and softreset!! ENJOY!!!

If the files don't help uninstall the cab and soft-reset and your vol. will go back to factory

***WARNING*** This will make your earpiece and speakerphone REALLY LOUD!!!!!!! I will not be responsible if you damage your speaker while using this********

i use the second attached cab and use the full audio boost and have no troubles or regrets for using that...

Are there just some phone that this doesn't work for? I have tried it and didn't notice any volume difference louder or softer. Remember I have two pro's so i try them side by side and don't notice anything at all.

Is there a special procedure or what because i've tried just copying it over directly to the windows folder. Afterwards, I tried coping the csv to the storage card then using resco explorer and transfering it from the storage card to the windows folder as well to no avail. I understand it works for alot of people, but what are some things that would block it to not work?

No special procedure ,and yea i heard that on some touch pros you dont notice any difference ,i tried it on my tp and i kinda notice a lil diff so i guess i depends on the make i guess.

I don't know I guess I assumed it would make the ringer louder "which is really what i want" cause right now it sounds like a flea screaming from across the room.

The speakerphone i could do without cause i dont need it since i have blutooth.

The second cab works and there is a significant difference in volume(especially speaker. I used it on both Diamond and PROS because people at my job were having the same issue.

all zips on the site are fine so i would watch yourself before you make false accusations... all zips work fine even the ones in this post that you said didnt work without any troubles.

i wasn't trying to say anything bad. it seems like all zips for me on here don't work. cabs and rapidshare links work.

please note. it was a problem on MY PC using windows to unzip the file. i used winrar now and it does work properly.

please excuse any bashing/negative posting you may have thought i was talking about, as this is not what i meant.

glad you got it figured out and sorry about the lashing i did towards you since that was uncalled for..... was just frusterated at work atm and let it get the best of me.

Ok this calls for the real deal...

I am going to get my engeneerstuff to handle this.

Couple knifes screwdrivers and couple other tools.

No to be honest i am not going to try this. :)

try a different browser like firefox.It appears you using a older version of IE

yuppers always use firefox myself.... way faster, more secure, and is way more customizable for your uses than internet explorer is by far.

so i'm downloading and unzipping and all that comes up is a unrecognized file... and not a cab.. i installed in my windows folder... was there supposed to be a cab cause i'm not hearing too much of a difference...???

what did you use? sorry cant seem to figure out what you downloaded..... i use a cab version that came out way back when the touch pro was new and have no troubles with it...... called badboy8813 audio fix full...... ill pull the cab out later if you cant find it.

so i found it but when i put it in my diamond it really didn't do anything and to be honest with you i even think it made the speaker worse... argh never mind... i mainly was looking for this for my ringer cause my ringer wasn't working right... it wasn't loud enough... i know its for the tp but the diamond i still have a few issues with... the ringer fades in and out sometimes...
