can't get keygen to work , how'd you get yours to work any help or advice is most welcomed

here ill lay it out step by step:

1. Install Cab File on Phone
2. Go to Start > Settings > Personal > Input and change it to touchpal
3. Press options
4. Press Activate
5. Open Keygen on computer
6. Enter Challenge Code as Seen on Screen
7. Press Calc on Keygen
8. Enter Key for v3.5 on Your Phone Where it Asks for "Registration Code:"
9. Press Activate
10. Press OK
11. Press OK
12. Soft Reset

DONE!

Ok followed all you steps , entered registration code , and it says it's invalidate registration code, even tried the other number# same thing with that one as well, soft reset my phone and and tried again still a no go , has the code been blocked already?

Guys, in my opinion, this release is just not as good as 3.5. I use TouchPal religiously and 4.0 lacks useful features like a lot of the symbols that were right there on your main keypad. You get something like 4 now and have to click a button to access other common symbols. Also, I couldn't stand having to fill out @hotmail.com, @gmail.com, etc. etc... on the new version. So I'm taking a step back on this one.

uninstall cab, soft reset, install cab, soft reset, refollow steps

dude this crap still doesn't work , i think the code is blocked, and the only way you can change the challenge code is to go into purchase, or maybe it doesn't work on the mogul i'm running 6.1 any other ideas?

i just tested on my buddies device using the steps given above by venumx and his activated without any troubles.

ok am i suppose to turn somthing off or on , 41804, and 73152 are not working , i even looked up the Key for 3.5 which are the same just reversed in order of placement i'm running SBP shell on mogul if that might have caused a problem. not sure just really stumped that this is the one time something has not worked on my phone , if i can't get it to work ,any other keyboards anyone might suggest with similar features?, (yes i do & will search, just asking for some names so i can search for them thanx for the feedback and help!

i know i'm late to the party but my phone died... and i was adding some keyboards... i know someone was having issues with it...

I DL it straight from cootek, and used the 3.5 kgen, entered the challenge code off the phone and entered the generated code off the kgen (the 3.5 code i.e. the second one) reboot the ppc... and it works...

also someone complained that it doesn't have dedicated buttons for @gmail, or @hotmail and such.. this is because it now 'learns' those once you enter it... after you enter it once... it will remember it, so you don't have to slide screens to get to the dedicated buttons. not sure if that made sense... but cool keyboard, not sure if i will stick with it... we'll see.

ps i have the OG sprint touch by HTC
