UPDATE** ALTHOUGH I DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE RYANMOGUL FULL METRO PCS PROGRAMMER DOES, I DO KNOW IT HELPS WITH THE SETTING AND PROGRAMMING TO INSTALL INTERNET/MMS ON YOUR DEVICE. PLEASE CONTINUE WITH THE SETTINGS BELOW, AND YES THE ATTACHED CAB WILL WORK EVENTHOUGH IT SAYS "MOGUL".

I copied this from somewhere on the internet, and this is how it worked for my TOUCH PRO,
REMEMBER - make sure you have the $45 plan,
it includes internet and mms (picture messenging)

WAP
1: Goto settings -> Connections -> Connections

2: Remove any connections that are there, (if u use a custom rom = they should have Network = use this one, DON'T DELETE)

3: Open your phone and enter ##778#, select "EDIT" and enter your unlock code. 000000

4: Set the following values:
M.IP Settings:
MIP_MODE = Simple IP Only

M.IP Default Profile:
NAI = yourtendigitphonenumber@mymetropcs.com
Home Address = 0.0.0.0 (just delete the values and save)
Primary HA Address = 0.0.0.0 (just delete the values and save)
Secondary HA Address = 0.0.0.0 (just delete the values and save)

Security:
HDR AN AUTH User Id = yourtendigitphonenumber@mymetropcs.com
PPP USER ID = yourtendigitphonenumber@mymetropcs.com
PPP PASSWORD = metropcs

(if u use a custom rom = they should have Network = use this one, DON'T DELETE)
5: Goto Connections and delete any existing connections and setup a new one using the following settings:

Number to dail = #777
Username: yourtendigitphonenumber@mymetropcs.com
Password: metropcs
Domain: (Leave Blank)

Select Proxy Settings and enter the following values:
wap.metropcs.net port:3128 (http)
wap.metropcs.net port:3128 (wap)
wap.metropcs.net port:443 (secure wap)
wap.metropcs.net port:3128 (socks)

6: Back in the "Connections" screen where you have two tabs at the bottom of the screen of "Tasks" and "Advanced", go to Advanced, click on "Select Networks" and select the name of the connection you just setup.
Example if you leave as Sprint then choose that one as your internet connection and do it for both settings.

MMS
MAKE SURE YOUR WEB IS WORKING PROPERLY (ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS) AS YOU CAN'T HAVE MMS WITHOUT WORKING INTERNET!!!!!
Remove/Uninstall any existing MMS composer you have attempted to setup. Also a good idea to remove any registry keys it may have created that are left behind after the uninstall.

1: Install Arcsoft MMS version 5.0.70.00 and up from Verzion or Sprint. I attached the one I use.

2: Open your Messaging and click on the SMS/MMS option.

3: Click on "Menu" and select "MMS Options" then select the "Servers" tab.

4: Add a new server with the following settings: or rename SPRINT
Server Name: metropcs
Gateway: wap.metropcs.net
Port number: 3128
Server address:http://mms.metropcs.net:3128/mmsc
Connect via: SELECT EITHER THE CONNECTION YOU SETUP ABOVE "NETWORK" OR "The internet"
Send limit: 399K

5: Click "Done" and then set the new server as default.

6: Using a Registry Editor edit the following values:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader]
DELETE KEY -> "X-sprint-MDN" or rename and use the next line below...
ADD STRING -> "X-metropcs-MDN"="XXXXXXXXXX" ( Insert your 10 digit phone Number )
ADD STRING -> "X-DEVICE-MIN"="1XXXXXXXXXX" ( Insert your 10 digit phone Number WITH the 1 in front of it )

you right it should be... i moved thread but made a redirect... i posted in this section cause all the metropcs questions about the PRO were asked here. No biggie as its already done with a redirect.

Hey you guys can add this to the first post if you want i dont know if it has anything to do with the topic of the thread or not but i got some info about a flashed touch pro on metro pcs(just happen and i got scared). If you flash your phone back to the stock rom the .exe one not the dumped(not sure tho because i havent tryed it) one it will reset your prl in the epst settings lucky enough i caught what went on and went to and got the latest prl on put it in the root of my memory card and on the phone dialer punch ##prl# put in your code should be 000000 and select edit and it should pop up with the prl let it load and reset your phone and you should be a ok.. then if you want dial *228 to to get the latest prl which should be 02002.

Hi,

I tried to setup MetroPCS settings so that I could get internet on my HTC Touch Pro phone after I got it flashed by MetroPCS agent. I did everything like you guy posted up here and it even say "MetroPCS connected" in my phone which mean I did everything correct. But when I tried to use the Web, I still get error. Please advice.:connie_mykilroy:

to be honest.. i coudnt tell you the answer because i havent flashed a metro phone.. this was off of another thread. ..

I gave my girlfriend my TouchPro flashed to metroPCS with FULL Internet/mms using the instructions in this thread. i also wanted to EDIT the post and add this .cab file, i dont know EXACTLY what it does but i do know it helps with the settings and programming..

Follow All Instructions In 1st Post Of This Thread And Then Add This Cab.
