Thier website is a bit screwed up so go to link below then scroll down to the nokia section and it takes you to the file directory where you can get the WM6 File .. or jsut click my link above

It is updated daily by the devs this 1 was put up at 2.07 today


Fennec alpha 2

This is the fourteenth development milestone and the first alpha release of the mobile version of Firefox, codenamed 'Fennec,' on the Windows Mobile 6 platform. This release is provided for for testing purposes only, intended to: Lt JCNK;<

* get wider feedback on our approach to the user experience;

* engage Mozilla community teams, including localizers, and testers
* get feedback from Web developers;
* encourage add-on developers to port existing add-ons and invent new ones for mobile.

The initial focus of Fennec development was on building a new user experience that reflects Firefox's design principles, adding touch screen support and other interactions appropriate for mobile phones and other handheld devices. Fennec preserves leading features like the Smart URL Bar ("awesome bar") and support for add-ons.

This alpha release on Windows Mobile focuses on stability, performance, and integration with the Windows Mobile OS. We've reduced our memory usage and begun to adapt our look and feel to smaller screen sizes. This version also includes TraceMonkey, our new high-performance Javascript technology.

I notice no one was posting back on the speed. Decide to give it a run, I have to say skyfire runs better & faster on my tmobile wing running windows mobile 6.1 i also tried it on my other wing running windows 6.0 performance was the same.

i installed it....

took a while to start for the first time

renders fine, looks good, although still sorta slow and sluggish

step in the right direction but still needs work to be a serious contender

well i went throughout the day playing around with it and to be honest i love how you can open more than one page and the visual of all the pages you have open but ..... its still no touching syfire. now if only there was a browser that had the speed and capability of skyfire along with the option to open several pages at one while being able to view all open pages and the maneuverability of opera that would be hot

Sorry... should've been more clear. I'm not sure which mirror I used, but for the 2nd time, I went to Mozilla's own page. It still won't boot. I don't get an error, it just brings up the "waiting" cursor for a few seconds & then does nothing. The program never starts.

have you soft reset after the initial install of the cab file?

Completely sucks the ram on my Titan, i went from 23 megs to about 4, it takes ages to get to the start screen and then just hangs the phone. Was keen to test but a no go on my phone.

thanks for the review and yeah thats what happens with the mogul and was a big problem the whole time the phone has been out.

looks nice enough, a little slow on installation, if Im not mistaken it appred as if its 25 mb on install?? I gotta look at that again- doesn't seem to be anything fancier than what is already out there- I still like Iris and Skyfire better.
