First things first.
This ROM is for the most advanced user, to the everyday beginner. This is one of the FASTEST and most STABLE ROMs to date running the 21864 build with the Manila 2.1. If you have any doubts, the ROM will speak for itself.

Notes: The base ROM has been stripped down to the bare minimum. Therefore there is no added bs, only what is needed to operate and function correctly. This ROM was built for speed, and to be the most stable ROM with the best support out there. All added programs and software are the latest, up-to-date versions to date. For a complete list of what is included, please scroll down. Screenshots can be found in the 3rd post.

Extra Info:A little about me. I have been cooking personal ROMs for a few friends and myself since the apache 6700. I have always considered myself a perfectionist, so users ROMs never met my standards or suited my needs. No disrespect to any cooks out there, if it weren't for you all (you know who I am talking about), I wouldnt be where I am today in the phone community. I always wanted the latest OS available, with the latest drivers along with the latest versions of the programs installed. Thats when I started building my own ROMs. From there I always spent my time tweaking the ROM to perfection for the best speed and stability I could get out of the device. I have built personal ROMs for the Apache, Mogul, Touch, and now the Touch Pro. Honestly when I received the Touch Pro I was pretty unhappy with the overall speed and stability of the stock ROM. Then I ventured out to a few users custom ROMs. I was still unhappy. I never intended to go public with any of my ROMs, they were only for personal use and a couple close friends. Since the feedback I had was so positive from a few, I decided to go public. Now here we are with the first public release of SsS-ROM after weeks of closed testing. For anything else, I will let the ROM do the talking. ;)

PagePool is now set to 32.
Verizon Users may want to set the PagePool to 16.

There are now 4 versions of the ROM, v0402, which is the standard version, v0402-S, which is a "Stuffed" ROM, loaded with goodies, v0402-NS, which is the "Stuffed" ROM without the sprint applications, and v0402-L, which is a 'Lite' version of the rom.

a few but nothing major.... Deck (creator of the ROM) says he will have an updated version either by tonight or tomorrow night,. You can take a look at the original thread in the first post to get a better Idea. I will update this post as the newer versions are released.

How does this stand against the StarRom 1.7? I am still running the StarRom but I am downloading this one since you are impressed by it. I'm gonna try both versions over the weekend and next week since I am off all week and I will report back on these. Thanks for the catchy review.

guys i am so not b.s.ing you...... I AM VERY IMPRESSED. when i say issues i say it with dumb things. like when bluetooth is enabled the icon doesnt appear... minor minor things.. speed is amaizing... batt life was 100% at 8 a.m. died at 7:30 p.m. with HEAVY HEAVY ussage..

try clicking a contact in touchflo3d-2 with Juicy 7 then try and pick a number to call.. it does nothing.. dead link... Juicy 7 has bugs with RHODIUM tflo3d-2 ... I am not impressed when i cant click a contact in touchflo and dial a number that is listed as this ROM doesnt have a lot of issues that Juicy 7 touchflo3d-2 has.

I just flashed this from Juicy 7 and i have to agree it is really nice. It is loaded with a lot of stuff, but I am really happy with it so far. I am able to dial contacts from TF3D-2 with ease and I am not having issues answering calls. Don't get me wrong I like Juicy's Roms, but I think I am going to run with this one for awhile. I will report any issues that I notice, but so far so good.

Big Jew, I'm assuming you are running this rom now? I noticed you have nothing but good things to say about it. I've downloaded it and I'm waiting to see if there are anymore "issues." So far from what I see, I'll be running this SOON. Probably this weekend if not sooner. Is there anymore screenshots? Not that it really matters, I was just inquiring.


This is a rom that will make me switch from Mightyrom 5, if there are no real issues.

ok bro i feel you trust my opinion and so far jew is right and this is the rom to be on... very stable, quick, and problem free. i havent had any crashes or freezes on this rom thus far....... A+++ and dash approved... i will make a review video of my device showing you around the rom and the speed.... expect that to be up and posted by evening tomorrow.

Yes i am running this ROM and yes there are NO issues i have noticed thus far on 117 version... Nothing but GREAT reviews from people that have flashed this.

8.5 out of 10 for RHODIUM ROM .. Juicy gets 7 just like the ROM Juicy 7

yup been running and giving hell all day so far and still ticking without any troubles...... i have to admit this is the BEST rom that i have ran on my pro thus far!!! the keyboard doesnt lag much at all which is huge for me, still havent had a cash, its fast, and just does what it is supposed to do which is hard to say these days...... very nice rom and would recommend anyone with a touch pro to give this at least an opportunity and a shot :) you wont be dissapoiunted if you do.

my 2nd flash since i had my phone.I got to say that this rom is swift clean and fast. so far no errors but still tinkering with it.. and getting used to that 6.5 version.....nice.

everytime i soft reset, the phone runs a hard reset. its done it twice.

other than that the rom is FAST!!!

did you take the battery out for a minute and soft reset after the lfash? if not reflash asnd do that nd you will be fine.... havent experienced that problem any of the times that i have soft reset after installs.

I reflashed the rom and now everything seems to be working fine. odd, never experienced that before. I was starting to use four letter words.

Anyway, I've noticed Thumbcal and swcked backup have conflicts. I'm personally not a fan of Sprite Backup. But I'm also using Microsoft Myphone, which BTW is now an open public beta.

Touch flo is stupid wicked fast. I have never seen touchflo run fast. I'll play with it for a couple of days. But so far I'm really impressed.

this thing is seriously amazing WOW is about correct supe...one thing tho, i cant get my hotmail account set up, anyone have a windows live cab or idea where i can get it? ive tried searching but havent been able to find it. thanks in advance guys
