Hey guys I hope someone can help with this problem. I have an htc touch pro from sprint I am currently using there stock rom. I have seen You tube videos of some custom roms using the touch flow 3d and the last tab where you have the program shortcut page, they do not have the program icons in the ugly sprint boxes and they have them in four rows and endless colums iwanted to know how i could get my phone to function like that and if i could do that with my sprint stock rom? I would much appreciate anyones help thanx

I tried clicking on the thread but it said i have to be part of a private group i just tried applying but i guess dash or one of the other developers has to approve me first is there another way for you to show me?

thank you scott for the zip i installed the sdk cab first then the program but it still did not work a blue box appears on the left hand side of the screen and then freezes am i doing something wrong or can i not install it on the sprint stock rom or shakass theme that i have it on

Try it again bro unistall everything then reinstall make sure u do a soft reset once u got both cabs installed

tried it again uninstalled.. reinstalled. doesn't seem to work. Are you sure i dont need to have a touch flow 3d 2 rhodium manilla theme. if thats the case then i beleive i need to flash to a custom rom cause im still using sprints stock rom. Let me know if im completely off, or if your out of ideas either way thanks for your help.

no rhodium iosnt necessary and this has been ran on touchflo 3d regular for a long time including by myself since im dash from those videos you were talking ab out. but anyways it could be the stock rom and trust me flashing isnt that bad and you will ever wonder why you stayed stock for sooo long..... might as well flash the radio while your at it to so you can get better battery life.

Thanks to all you guys i finally got it to work once i was able to open the thread superman sent. i could not get scott's version 3 to work which looked cool cause you still had the add favorites tabs. any thoughts about that Dash? its probably the rom oh well..

One last thing for now I only havent messed with flashing to a custom rom because i know once you do you obviously lose all your programs apps data etc.. and the one thing about sprint is that I enjoy there navigation system which i find better than most gps apps. is there a way to flash and still have sprint nav and sprint tv and radio? and lastly if im not satisfied with a custom rom and want to change it back to sprint's rom with everything it first came with, can i do a hard reset ?

ok once you flash a custom and if you decide to go back to stock all you do is relock the bootloader and flash the stock rom. (hard resetting only brings you back to starts on the last flashed rom) and all the sprint apps including navigation have cabs for them aroudn the site that you can install and still use... i use sprint nav as well and no custom rom will give you troubles with running it.

Bro if you think you like Sprints lil measly apps, wait til you flash to custom rom. And if the rom of choice is a clean rom and doesn't have it...here at Wckediden you can use the "search" feature and download it along with ANYTHING else your looking for. Just takes a little patience and a lot of reading, and some faith to know the SPRINT DON'T HAVE SHIT ON Wckediden!! Period. If Sprint has it, we have it better and more of it...that's all I'm saying. Not hating...just stating...as I do work for Sprint I am not bashing Sprint, but we gotta compare apples to apples here. Well good luck to ya bro, get ready to loose a lot of sleep and possibly your gf too if ya have one, cause this site WILL consume you. Don't have the time...you will soon enough..make it! Anything good comes w sacrifice....ditch the girl and hop on aboard...hahaha lmfao...j/k. ...time to take a trip to the dark side brotha, before you know it you will be flashing and running through themes like nothing. Thanks for that info Dash. And JOHNNY.... LMFAO!!!! Everything you said is completely accurrate and scary. Ever since I traded in my instinct to get the pro i have been addicted to tweaking, installing, and pushing this little gadget to its limit! And my girlfriend hates me for getting this phone and wants to kick me everytime she sees me playing around with it. Good looking out guys im sure ill be back for more.
