I was just thinking!!
don't you guys think it would be a good idea for Wckediden to sell T-shirts???
i think that would be really cool!!
it would benefit this web site alot!!
it would bring more members in and it would help bring money to the site also!!
if i were to have an Wckediden t-shirt i would really want it to have the webpage of course and the logo of htc with a little cartoon of some of the old sig's that D/\SH and other members and staffs had like the one with an htc touch with a lifesaver kicking an ipods ass lol!!! what do you guys think???

you cant get too crazy with them and we have tried this before... i made a small order of them tin return for modding someones phone.... i got the green of course and than some grays for the other staff at the time... i made a thread about this and we just couldnt get anyone that wanted to buy them.... i guess if you want under the Wckediden news section you could make a thread for people to design a t-shirt and if that goes good we will go about getting them made.... so basically have people whip up mock up t-shirts and than the staff will dwindle down to 5 or so and have the members vote on the design that we are going to use.

Yes this has been discussed between staff a few months back, not sure where we still stand on it but im sure wcked or Dash will chime in on this thread and give us an update. The last thing I remember we discussed was possible vendors to do the shirts for us...so if anyone knows a great vendor with great deals let us know. :)

yeah, me too i would totally buy one and sport it regularly. All my friends would be like "wtf is that?" and i'd be all, "you wouldn't get it."

hahahaha get designing mock ups and make a thread for them as a contest and the winner of course will get a free shirt in both colors sent to them and all..... prolly could get some good looking ones made if people were wanting this and willing to contribute member wise since they will be the mass majority of the buyers.

nope its whatever you think will look good on a t-shirt.... cant be too many colors and has to be pretty clean overall otherwise it will cost a lot to get these screenprinted.

and yup venum thats the throwback Wckediden wear :) i got one in green and one in gray :) the green is one of a kind though :)

i think its a good idea....maybe we should come up with a design and get people to order them befor we place the order, just so we dont waste our money on a big order and nobody buys what we ordered.

well it justs make sence, if only 5 people order than we order 5 shirts or if 50 people order we order 50. and so on. and i say we come up with one price 10 bucks and of course the more the shirts we order the cheaper we can get them so with the one price we may get xtras

I am in the printing business. We don't print on T-Shirts, but I have a couple of vendors I can inquire about. I know there are tons of companies that will print T-Shirts, and so I can't guarantee the lowest price, but I can definitely get prices knowing a number of shirts and in what sizes. Having people pre-ordering might help guarantee that a certain number of shirts would be sold. Shipping also comes into question for the bulk order. It would probably be best if the manufacturer of the t-shirts is local to where they will be shipping from to whoever buys them to avoid freight charges on a large order. Anyway, those my 2 and 3 cents!

this sounds like a great idea...ofcourse this is always an issue for me..ive been part of several other groups and stuff where they buy shirts by bulk orders and i always get stuck with an xtra large t shirt that i never wear....so i guess i can get one for the husband :(

actually, we are planning to get t-shirts i had two vendors in mind but the cost of the graphics and the t-shirts was too pricey for what i had on my budget i'm trying to get them to lower the price a little but to do that i would have to buy it by the bulk like if i was going to give it out to a ballpark and that's to many haahahahaha but i never responded to them yet.I got caught up on other stuff.

But if any member with skills with graphics and it can be used for printing or know anyone in your town that the can do the shirts with a good price let me know by pm we can work something out.

Well you can count me for ALL 50 votes!!! I am constantly promoting this site and referring people here, only the worthy of course. If someone ask me what is a email...then obviously I leave them out! Neway....lets do it man...who cares if 50 people don't want to...they will when we all have a shirt and they don't!!! I am willing to contribute, will come up w a dollar amount asap. I have my daughter's preschool graduation right now so it's kinda priority along with her B~DAY on June 6th in a couple weeks she will be 5yrs old. So I will try my best to figure out and amount...

I agree. that's exactly what people will do. Next thing ya know we have threads getting even more crapped up etc. I mean I'm not the decision maker and I stand behind whatever decision Wckediden makes, and if I can buy em I will! I will have a fundraiser and try to get as many possible sold to help the site as well.
