very nice video and if you want it wouldnt hurt to add it to the Wckediden utube section to help build that up and have it in there for others to see also..... damn amazed at how this place is growing.

if you look under the resource tab above you will see the utube section and than go to add video and fill in the blanks and your good to go :smile:

O.K. cool I have watched this 20 times now and still the guy does not tell you how to open files or how to get to them this might be ok for some people but this newbie is missing something I have read the step by step but also does not tell you how to get to files like go to start>programs> and ECT. sorry but I see everything but how is he getting to it? Is it on Device or is it on storage card? It says put nbh file in RUU so I have no NBH file only a rar file. I right click on file to unrar it but does not give me the option to unrar or unzip it.

dude are you serious!!!!!! your overthinking!!! you want star so do this

1. unlock device using unlocker (hardspl) by clicking exe and following steps
2. download starrom or rom of your choice but saw you looking at star
3. using winrar open the folder for star rom
4. go to romupdateutility.exe and double click
5. follow steps on screen
6. remove battery for a minute
7. hard reset
8. enjoy

ok I watched video and read you guys notes and I got it to load and then it would not load it stayed at 0% so I think it is still locked I have asked seveal times and someone said if it says 0.25 then it is unlocked and some said if it said 0.37 then it is unlocked . I used raphael SSPL manual and it says unlocked and I am out to tri color screen and it says unlocked but it is stuck on that screen it will not soft reset like the video did. so I had to do a soft reset with the stylus.

If it wont go past 0%, sounds like you need to deactivate advanced network functionality in your phones connection settings.

you want the 0.37 unlocker as the unlocker states to use if you arent an advanced user use the .37.... as i have said many times please fully read the threads this is the 5th or 6th time i have had to tell you today

it is unchecked I went back to tri color screen and it says unlocked 0.37 so it is unlocked

than you should be fine to flash the rom of your choice...... download and run the romupdateutility.exe and you will be fine. dont overthink, this is a very easy process with unlocking included that consists of jsut double click 2 exe files, checking some boxes, hitting next, and waiting.

If it says 0.37 CMONEX, then you are unlocked, if it just says 0.37, then you are NOT unlocked, regardless of whether or not is says "Security Unlocked" at the top.

Thanks superman it is not unlocked so that is probably why I am getting error code. Is there another unlocker other than Raphael?

The cmonex .37 is the one you want. If it is not working, then it might be your comp. So first try re-downloading the unlocker and running it again. If that still doesnt work, try installing it on another computer and trying again. I have heard many times of some computers not working while other computers work like a charm on the first try

you do realize that this only unlocks so you can flash custom roms and did you use the search feature? also look in my signature below for the rom flashing tutorial with links to all that you need.

Ok I unlocked my phone once and I don't know how to do it again. I want the S2U2 and I want to download the GSS Titanium ROM. I had to get another phone so I have to start the process all over again. I clicked on the "Watch Now" tutorial and all I get is another website can anyone help me with this?
