Syncing problems on Vista
O.K. here is what I learned 3 days later and after buying Driver detective and Reg. Mechanic.
On your touch Pro go to Start> Settings> usb to PC and check enable advanced network functionality then plug the touch pro into PC. Then wait for it to connect or try to find drivers if it does not detect phone then unplug the phone, Then go back to Start> Settings usb to PC and un-check the enable advanced network functionality then plug it back into the PC if it don't see the phone and install drivers then go into device manager on your pc and asign the device a port I had to do mine on com port3 and volia it worked. Just wanted to let anyone else know what I found out it might help someone later down the road but I want to than all that tried to help me. Thanks, Ink Jammer EDIT: If WMDC center does not open for you when you plug your phone into the computer. Then unplug the phone, open WMDC, then plug the phone back in. |
