I understand that homie it's fine.. you could of said pretty please ya kno but I didnt understand why I would have to do a search if it's still on topic ya kno.. the vid was on the Touch Pro 2 and all i asked was for some additional information... Im surprised u didnt just tell me homie.. I saw a whole thread about how Dash was saying this site is all about helping people ya kno and instead of just telling me to do a search it would of been easier to just say the date or actually give me the link like most people do on here including myself.. it's all good im not mad but I just wanted to say that fresh.. I love Wckediden and I love the peeps on here I dont know if im just in a bad mood (been along day yo) but if u didint wanna help you could of just not said anything to me ya kno.. cus someone would of helped me better because me doing a search is common knowledge ive been here long enough.. again im just speaking my mind doc Ive never had a problem before and i dont consider this to be one either so be easy homie and i apologize for keeping thread off topic.. 100

HTC Touch Pro2 Unboxing Video
 

At long last, the Touch Pro2 is available, and here is the unboxing video for your viewing. We find that although the device is big in hand, it's noticeable thinner than the Touch Pro and especially the old TyTN II.

In terms of specs, the Touch Pro2 is almost identical to the Diamond2 (in fact, look at this side by side comparison). It's got a Qualcomm 528MHz CPU with 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM. The screen is a large 3.6" at 800x480 resolution, which is the highest that Windows Mobile will support. It's got aGPS, FM radio, an accelerometer, light sensor, WiFi, and HSDPA (though not for America). It ships with Windows Mobile 6.1, but will be upgradable for free to WinMo 6.5 in a couple of months. For more specs, check out PDAdb.net.

First impressions? It's amazing how refined HTC has made the Windows Mobile hardware and software on the Touch Pro2. It's easy to forget that Windows Mobile 6.1 is running under everything.

Also of note is the screen sensitivity...like the Diamond2, it's VERY sensitive, in fact, as close to capacitive as we've ever seen with Windows Mobile hardware.

If you want a Touch Pro2 of your own, they are now shipping at Clove for £439 which comes out to about $720. Though this particular variant of the Touch Pro2 will work in America, you won't be able to get 3G data.

since the pre and the HTC snap is coming out the end of this week i would really be surprised if the sprint touch pro2 also gets released in June... on the sprint roadmap it says 3rd quarter ... which is July through September.. many people are hoping for a July release but that is wishful thinking... usually sprint has a tendency to release phones the last month of the specified quarter on the roadmap;... which in this case would be September... i hope that is not the case but who knows... time will tell... the phone has been spotted in the wild ... so we know that the production is there.. just need the official release now

someone hasnt had their coffee today... it says sprint right on the phone in the picture... i think t-mobile and AT&T will be getting their versions as well...

Uck... sprint version looks like crap compared to the gsm version.... looks like the got a lil too creative in redesigning...lol...IMHO

its lsated for the 3rd quarter at the moment which is the july through september slate unless they push it back which they seem to do with all big releases.

is that whut the sprint version is going to look like without that chrome n stuff on it and is that the rubber casing on the back like my touch?
i hope so i actually passed on a diamiond and pro because i like the rubber cover on my touch its like dirt n scratch proof love it
hope that is the case with the pro 2 im waiting n waiting lol for this thing to be availible
i have upgrades n all that on sprint
almost went n copped a pre today but watched a few more tp2 vids and decided to wait
