It is hard to say what is the Best it is more personal preffence that anything. Starrom 2.0 or SsS rom or ATR v2 lot of them out

yuppers as goku said its more preference and myself i run star 2.0 myself and to unlock and flash your device you can find the link in my signature below on flashing or with a search (very useful feature up top) you would have found this video tutorial on flashing the diamond and touch pro.

Id go with star rom bro it is the best rom out there ,but like everyone just said its all prefrence

sSs Rom v1119 or v1117 is the shhhhh trust me. But any of the above mentioned will be good for you, it's about what YOU like, we can only give you OUR opinion. Everyone has different experiences with different roms, some like others etc. Depends on what you like man, so go for it. If you don't like the one you flash.....then flash another! Onlky one way to find out...you can ask us all you want...I say get to flashing!!

I'm having the same issues trying to decide. Can't figure out which ROM to stick with. Now I'm using Mighty 4R3born ROM it seems OK, but I have noticed times when it freezes or slows down. Don't know if that's the ROM's fault or not. But it seems that everyone of the ROMs I've looked at have some issues, either this doesn't work or that isn't there, or the camera fails or whatever.
I don't want to go back to the stock Sprint ROM b/c I'll take you guys' word for it that it is worse than the cooked ROM's but it does seem that at least with the stock ROM everything works.
I don't want to continually flash ROM's and have to reinstall all the apps. I just want a fast, stable, bug free ROM with a few tweaks to improve performance and the ability to keep some Sprint apps like TV, sprint Navigation, and whatever else we need from Sprint. (I like the Swcked mobile shell.)
I know its a matter of personal preference, but any ideas?

Hey whats up bro long time no see u around here but mighty reborn has some issues i would reccomend flashing once again u can flash as many times as u want and u wont hurt ur phone as far as losing ur apps and contacts simply get urself a backup program i use microsoft my phone which is one of the best backup software ive used u can find it here or go to microsoft .I think u should go with star bro everyone here at Wckediden is going for that rom i flashed to it no problems what so ever nice and smooth fast and has what u need .Hope that helps

well it depends what u like as said, do u want to run the 6.5 version or do u want to stick with touchflo, u can always try the star 2.0 tflo3d 2--it contains both the 6.5 and touchflo..battery life is good and it is very stable personally im usinf mobile shell and neither of those but i love the rom, eventually im going to move to wisbar--got some more reading to do though...i hope this helps.......

Ya the flashing bug can be deadly i find myself telling myself... ok... stick with this one then an hour later im putting another rom on my phone. Just like what the guys said its all up to how a rom works for you if you like it and it runs good enough to suite your needs then keep it if not then choose.. theres pleanty of roms to go thru and try. I have a touch pro on metro pcs and was having troubles with a couple of roms battary life or not keeping my custom settings to get my internet and mms 2 work but right now im currently on Fallen rom 2.1 and so far its one of the best i've tried but it took going thru the popular ones 2 find my diamond in the ruff...lol. So all in all its up 2 you, just make sure u read up real good on how to do things because its very easy 2 have a $600 paper weight infront of you.

I'm using sprite backup, so if I flash a ROM and save the apps to a card, then after a hard resent then all I have to do is a restore and all the apps will be back?

Dont know about 6.5 and since I do like the mobile shell Im not using the TF3D much at all.

Yea bro thats what the backup app does i tried pim backup that didnt work for me i guess i didnt know how to work it everytime i tried to restore it ,it would give me an error someone siad take the sd card out before the hard reset did it and id still get an error when trying to restore so i went with something online for my backup solution.

And tlpalmer was saying that bc she thought u had a prefrence on either but since ur sticking with mobile shell just download either version from star2.0 if ur thinking about it id say go for it bro

well you will have to reinstall..... all i recommend backing up is just your contacts and texts along with email... if you flash to a different rom you CANNOT use a backup form a different rom otherwise it will revert the flash back to the olderst version from the backup made. so basically use pim backup and install all apps pver again after reset....

Oh, dude, good advice. so that defeats any benefit from backing up apps if you continually flash ROMs. What r u using now, any issues with it, and how do you keep from installing and reinstalling apps everytime u flash (or do you)?

Great question bro even id like to know that ,even though i think there is no way of not installing progrmas over and over again after each flash well wait for the man dash

There is app that you can on your phone that wiill install all the apps for you after you flash forgot the name Dash will know it. As for installing app just have a folder on your phone with all the app you like. Once you have flashed go threw an install all them. I have got it down now after flashing so much only takes like 10 mins to get everything installed again haha...

take a look at sashimi :) works great and even has setup videos on youtube that you can use as a step by step guide to getting set up.

there is many ways UC, Sashimi, Venums app being released soon i hope :)

OK, so what is it about the star 2.0 ROM that makes it so good? And y u using it Dash? Is this a ROM you guys use to try, or is it your regular ROM?

Read the ROMs thread. This thread is getting out of control. All of the info that has been given is readily available in our forums already. But as stated, ROMs are personal preference and every ROM has a description in its thread.
