what steps did you take? are you gsm (sim card) or cdma? (this only works on cdma devices)

I am Sprint CDMA. Got phone to go to bootloader I used manual HSPL file and it went into bootloader screen and had 0.25 0n it but it stuck there till I did soft reset on it. I am sorry but I am a newbie and install instuctions are very vague and dont go into how to go into ruu and stuff like that. I do not even know what ruu is. SO I am asking if there is a more defined explination on here.

before you unlock if using xp computer make sure u have framework 2.0 on desktop unlocker wont run on a higher framework once u do that make sure phone is sync with computer, put phone in bootloader and then run the unlocker and should be just fine..

my laptop is vista home premium and I got it to go into bootloader screen and it had 0>25 on it so what to do next? I did do a soft reset cause it was stuck on bootloader screen/

i imagine you have the unlocker if so make sure your phone is connected to WMDC which is (windows mobile device center) in your computer..if so when connected put phone in bootloader and run the ruu inside the unlocker..

All I have right now is the Raphael CDMA SSPL Manual I ran it and it took me to the red, blue, green screen with the 0.25 on it but it did not reboot on its own I had to do a soft reset on it. So is it unlocked or not and what is the next step?

havent you read the step by step flashing guide oer wwatche the step by step video tutorial that we have posdted in the tutorials area and the written in my signature below...... links are even given.

If it unlocked when putting it back to bootloader it should say 0.37 meaning its unlocked but it says 0.25 its still locked....thnxs

Yes dash I read step by step directions but it says to put file into ruu and run it from there it does not say what RUU stands for it does not say how to get to ruu do you run it through computer or thru the phone or what. I will look for the video to watch. I know you guys do get tired of us newbies dash but this is probably one of the hardest forums to navigate thru I have been to. But I do apreciate you guys and I hope I can get this all behind me so I can help others someday. Once I do it and get it once I will be set I am just wanting to be careful and not brick my phone.

are you serious hardest to navigate through? its laid out in the simpleist way go to ppcgeeks and xda and than come back and tell me its hard to navigate through..... and since we taking low blows on some shit why dont you read around and use the search feature as told many times!!!! not that hard really dude and RUU is what the rom comes in and stands for rom update utility.... if you download and you only have a nbh which is rare you would use that folder to drop the nbh file in and than run the romupdateutility.exe .... jsut as the steps and the video even showed you....... i would take some time to read and check yourself before taking low blows before doing your research... good riddence. and to throw in also if you would have looked in the signatures like told you would have found the Wckediden tour guiding you all around the site and showing you all the areas that you are asking and all around the site....... so maby you should try actually to look for stuff or use the search feature.

I first want to say thank you DASH I was not trying to be rude or disrespectful. I have searched and used search here for things and not found them sorry I offended you or anyone on here that is not what I was trying to say. I was just saying it was hard to navigate through I guess it is so easy it is hard LOL it is to simple. I guess it is just new to me I guess that is what I should have said. When I 1st signed onto the site I looked around and I ran into a few things I liked and wrote them down and next time I did a search for them and it pulled up nothing everytime you guys said to do a search for something I would do it and still nothing I would spend hrs looking for something and still not find it. I wait till next day to look again.

AGAIN I am sorry I do appoligise for anything I said that might have made you mad or upset I am just sick and tired of this stock rom and wish I could get a custom tom flashed to it.

On that note what rom would you recomend for a newbie that is solid and stable at this point in my learning stage?

naw its all good but roms are personal choice i use star 2.0 myself and love it. and the search feature is like google, use keywords and you will be fine...

I have sprint touch pro do I get the TF3D2? Just asking cause I read somewhere else to not do tf3d2 only do tf3d so is the tf3d2 o.k. to do on my phone?

well your stock touch pro will come with touchflo 3d...... you will have to flash over to a custom rom that included tf3d2 if you were wanting it since that is a port from the touch pro 2.

platinum? what are you talking about? are you talking titanium? if so check out the videos i and others have made on youtube to show you.... please keep this thread on topic. if your question doesnt pertain to unlocking your device and your problem please make a new thread AFTER you search to make sure one isnt already made.

yes I am sorry I meant titanium I just didnt know if one for a certain phone and another for the touch pro.

well its been ported so it works on the pro and diamond now :) you will love the added features and almost all the bugs are worked out of it at this point.

Still having trouble unlocking I have to use SSPL manual and it is the only one that will work at least load from phone
