EVDO Speed
 

Hi, I've got two questions really... I'm running SSS rom. Does this already come optimized for increased speeds for EVDO? I'm getting really low download speeds somewhere around 300-400 kwckeds. I've heard mention of a way to increase this but I'm not really sure of how well they work. Any help? Thanks.

does your device say 1x or ev on your taskbar when downloading..... and why didntt you ask in the ss thread instead of making anew thread...... but all roms will come with rev a enabled and have always been that way since the mogul so you should have no troubles picking it up and if you do go back to stock and see if still doing it cause it may be the device or the area.

sorry about that, I wasn't sure if that would be the right place to ask. I got it much faster already though. Last three times I've done it I've gotten it at 2.2 mwckeds. I used advance config just to change the connect retransmission to 8 and saw an immediate boost in speed.

no need to be sorry and we were all there... you will find some things that you will always add back to your device no matter what and this is one of them :)
