Touch Pro Bizzareness
 

Well for the last 2 weeks I've been having problems w/ my Pro acting a little bizzard! I would flash to the latest and greatest new roms; lovin'm and then 4-5 days later my contacts would disappear or my text msging would start to freeze and it would take like 3 or mins to load a msg that was sent to me! All of these would occur after some tweaking of the phone to my liking, nothing major; just adding a different task bar or just install a few of my fav apps! I guess the point of this post is to see if anyone else has/had this problem or should I just relock, go back to stock and get a refurb? All these problems have occured using wm6.5!! Just had problems w/ my phone last night, so I flashed back to wm6.1 to see what happens!!

yeah 6.5 still has a lot of glitches.... the only 6.5 rom that i've used without any issues is starrom 2.0, I think flashing back to 6.1 is a good idea for now; also make sure you are hard resetting after flashing new roms

as timmy said it has gotten better like with star but thats the only one i have tried without errors... and for the contacts havent heard of that one besides with mobile shell if you have it skinned with one of the older themes like the route66 theme or smething like that.... also as venum says be sure you re hard resetting and taking the battery out after flah.... if it continues still flash back to stock and bring her into the sprint store and they shoudld give you new touch pro since all the replacements lately hasve been nib which means free accessories and oem battery :)

star rom 2.0 was ok.. but the most stable to date 6.5 i have run is star rom 1.6. i fixed all the small issues on that in the reg...I have it on both my pro's and its been fantastic since day it came out..battery life is days. super fast.

Anyone have a recommendation for a loaded wm6.1?? This RSTG rom is full but no TFL3D!!! Or could I install TFL3D to it??

you could always give kk's a shot even though he hasnt updated in a while.... there should be a rstg rom out there with touchflo installed...... may want ot take a look at ppcgeeks in case we missed it somehow.

I just checked all he has in a Diamond Rom w/ TFL! Is it possible to install TFL to this rom??

tfl? what are you talking about? and on the diamond touchflo is on there if that is what you mean.
