will have to give this a shot i feel :smile: this weekend i will test and report back :) has anyone heard if the clock bug has been fixed where it keeps changing your clock back or forward and hour (cant remember which since i was running this way back when on my mogul.

gonna download and install this, compare it to garmin see whats up :P looks pretty interesting.. havent messed with igo since like vogue days either dashy :P Im sure the clock thing mustve been fixed by now.

Have downloaded the latest June version and the Australian maps but having problems installing it on my phone. Can someone please help? Unpacked both zip files but unsure what to do from there.

No, I HAVE unzipped them, tried running the exe file but nothing. What to do after the files have been unzipped?

I got mine all set but im in the US...key things you need:

ergnu.zip - New version of iGo8 ( Open folder lulu then open samui and drag the iGo8 Folder from there onto ur phone )
allanguage.rar - Languages
voice.part1.rar, voice.part2.rar - Voices
Auscon.rar - your australia maps

once you have everything open alllanguage.rar and you will see a lang folder, open that and take all the zip files in there and put them in your iGo8/content/lang folder on your device that you already made when you copied the folder from ergnu.zip.

now open voice.part1.rar and you will see a voice folder, extract the voice folder to somewhere on your computer to make sure the files are whole since it is a 2 part file, now open that voice folder and take all those zip files and put them in the iGo8/content/voice

now you just need your maps so open the AusCon.rar file and you will see a maps folder, open that and extract the files to iGo8/content/maps

go into that same iGo8 Folder on your device and run the iGo8.exe file. You should be working. Hope this helps...good luck

iGo is pretty cool... only problem is that it has crashed on me twice in the first day of having it installed. Once it freezes I have to soft reset and load the program again... then it hangs at "starting" and I have to reset it again... continue this routine until it finally acknowledges that it failed to launch and allows me to reset to factory defaults (meanwhile I lose all my poi favorites).

Anyone else have a similar experience? Is there anything I can do to make this run more stable?

I found that my program seems to have a problem opening with saved data. If I delete the save folder before I launch iGo it works fine... just have to reinitialize everything. Also, I found that it works best to have a satellite lock with visual gps before I launch iGo. Otherwise I have had it freeze on the satellite settings menu when I change the com port from the default setting.

Does anyone else have a similar problem with their saved data? I would really like to be able to build up a history with this program with favorite locations etc.

yeah im not experiencing this at all.. i dont know why thats happening for you but everything is loading up fine have used it for 5 trips so far without fail!
