Beginner NEED THE BEST HTC TP HELP POSSIBLE
 

Hey, i just got my touch pro couple of weeks ago..really like it so i decided to look up cool things to do to it like changing themes and adding games...i tried to do it but horribly failed..i need some specific help or a guide for dummys..lol, i dont know anything about this...and would am eager to learn...anything that would help me would be great....thanks!!!

most of the staff have links in their signature for tutorials..how to flash custom roms, modding, etc there at the top of the forum are skins, applications..just do some looking around the site to get yourself familiar before u jump in to modding...the tutorials are all real good, u will find that this site is easy to navigate.........


if u are in the black theme there is a blue button under the staffs post which says show sig..just click that and u will see the links...

I think he cannot see it because he has to adjust settings under the USER CP ( located on the top left right below the POCKETPcRESOURCE ) logo for him to see the signatures!

naw thats not that way any more for the users...... thats auto checked unless they uncheck it.... was a setting that wcked accidently was overlooking.

Thanks everybody for helping me out...i did overlook the settings for the thread display..i got it too work now!!

and tlpalmer...i havent done anything to my phone so far i only changed the background and thats it....i dont even know how to change the skin.. :\

im getting around much easier now on Wckediden...and when i try to follow a link thats part of the thread thats very helpful i cant open it...it says i dont have the permission to access the page...what should i do?

ok..i just ran into a big problem..my cousin was messing around with my phone and he deleted everything on my phone he said he accidentaly cleared the storage...so my phone reseted to factory settings. i lost all my contacts and pics and every thing that i did to it....is there any way i can recover this? is there some kind of system recovery that i can do on my phone?

than you lost it all...... a master reset clears everything from your device and returns back to the rom your device was on last in new form...... hopefully you have the stuff somewhere backed uplike contacts and pics because they wont be there... didnt you have pics on your storage card saved? and the mods can be done again not too big of a deal there..... hopefully all works out for you and you have them backed up on an old phone or something.

if u dint back them up u i believe may be s.o.l.....always back up at least contacts...pimbackup i use and have no problems....

i just checked my pics were saved in my storage card...but my contacts were never backed up...so i guess that means i lost all my contacts...fml!....thanks for the help anyways...

in the future when you start building them back up i would open up a gmail account and add your contacts into there.... if you add them as you get them it doesnt take long.... than when you go to setup your gmail account for emails to be pushed to your device you will get the option for it to restore the contacts that you added from their server so they will never be lost :) i also use dashwire just to be safe since servers do go

unless you backed up with a backup program .your screwed. start redoing it. and lay the guilt on thick to your cuz.
