me and wcked both have chatted with this back and fourth and it works great... the only thing is it goes through mms so you have to be at the main text menu with all your texts on it and not inside a text and than click on menu/new/voicemail and you can talk back and fourth via voice instead of typing which comes in very handy for when your driving or something..... i hope they change it from being like a mms and allow it inside a message so you dont ave the extra step of going back.

works on my touch pro 6.1 stock room .. send message to my son instinct he was able to reply in text format of course..

Man this is awesome so I had the chance to play around with and it works like a charm ... very handy, as D/\SH mentioned earlier, whenever u need a quick message especially when driving .... hopefully I can find more useful stuff on the net haha

sweet this one worked where Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24.cab and Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24-pm.cab didnt work at all.

no clue why it would be doing that.... you did soft reset after install correct? also did you try to reinstall and see if that fixed your troubles? could be the rom what rom are you using.... many different things it could be including another app conflicting with it..... but i would try the soft reset if havent and the reinstall followed by the reset if that didnt work.

so let me get this straight... besides the basic awesomeness that is arcsoft... it can also convert voice to text and send via sms? does that only apply to other w/ this version of arcsoft?

so i soft reseted

reinstalled

then soft reseted....

hopefully this works for everyone... it's a wonderful app to have for 6.5 thanks again to the creator.... and the supporters ;)

nope its basically a picture mail... you take the picture add it to the message and send through arcsoft...... you record your voice on this and the other person hears your voice like on palringo and if they have this cab installed can reply via voice.... it works just like a picmail :) very nice for when driving and i cant believe that you havent jumped on this yet

it doesn't fix it.Because the sprint picture mail is working fine.It just that Arcsoft is flexible to work with and has added feature.

yeah but I just flashed to NFSFAN Rom and I cannot send pix or recieve pix did the flash hard reset and still wont work, Also would not work on juicy 8 rom as well maybe something going on with my account with sprint not sure why this would be though if you say pix mail is fine. I even install the arcsoft cab for sprint and that did not allow me to send pix keep getting that failed message.

NFSFAN's rom doens't have arcsoft, only sms. you have to install this to get picturemail to work

I had arcsoft on nfsfan's rom and it still would not let me send or recieve pic mail. Still got that stupid failed notification, Do you think this has something to do with sprint and my account cause I did call them and tried to figure it out and they took me through that process where you punh ##1234567# (example) and told me to, either update or refresh what my setting, Im not sure. either way, I just flashed back to juicy 8 going to try this arcsoft again. I do appreciat your replies. Much love on the site. Dash Got the song for you I will E mail it to you here in a bit. Got 2 versions of the song the first one will be the one my buddy maid and we both really did not like it too well chorus sucked and some things did not match up too well but still a funnyy song. but the second I had him fix and put a lil sumthin sumthin for wcked in there!!!

lol..thanks bro.but i too have NSFAN rom and i have arc installed but i do not have that issue now.I did on the old version.Try and uninstall it and reinstall to see if it works...Do you have by any chance the sprint picture mail install?

No I did not have the picture mail cab installed. I believe in one of the post I read it said not to have picture mail installed, I did not try to uninstall it then reinstall So I will give that a try.

yup I just cant seem to have any luck getting this to work!!!!!! I flashed to juicy 8 installed this cab soft reset unplugged from wmdc tried to send a pic got the failed notification

uninstalled the jd sprint arcsoft, did the soft reset, downloaded the cab u just gave me and soft reset again sent a photo..... same delivery failed notification. WTF you all have no problems but i do. This sucks I am not going to give up though very persistant i am. Thanks wcked, Once again I do appreciate your help. If you can think of anything else Just let me know. I know you all got lives so thus far much appreciation. one way or another I will get this fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

these cabs do work and i can understand your frustration... Worse case scenario you can hard reset and try again..

Hey I know they work something is definetely wrong with my phone cuz i have been through 3 different roms, 4 hard resets and for some reason I cant even get an internet connection I called sprint, no help. My gps is not working says expired in red. Something just is not their and I am running into a wall. I will not give up maybe for tonight but I will figure it out. By the way Big Jew Dont know if you saw my post do dash and wcked but My buddy made a bad aZZ song about all you Got a lil sumthin in their for you as well PLAYBOY!!!! Thanks again for the Replies

did you try setting up an internet connection? click start then go to settings then connections, then connections again, then click on advanced, select networks, data connection, select edit, make sure it says data connection #777, then click on edit, if it says data connection on connection and cellular line on modem then select next, and for the number that should be entered put in #777 then select next, dont put a user name or password or anything in the domain, click finish. That should set it up for you. hopefully that helps.

i know it's time consuming but have you flashed back to stock and installed the arcsoft cab?

i'm running the arcsoft cab on my mogul, stock TP and custom ROM TP. You may have to flash back to stock, and run an updated profile and get a data connection then flash back. I know its not what you want to hear, but it might help. and as mentioned above, do you have a data plan?

Ok. I got it all working now! I am on nfsfan rom everything is all good. I really wish I could say what fixed it but I just got lucky or something. I flashed back to stock, called up sprint, they had me go to my epst settings and reset, that did not work! I kept getting this error code 1012. So then the guy had me, under epst go to m.ip setting and change active user profile from 0 to 1. he said it should always be a 1. Then reset the device. On bootup it tried to config setting and gave me the same error message 1012. Before all this my only problem was not being able to get arcsoft to send pix or get on the internet, For some reason I could not get the connection #777 to connect. But after being on the phone for an hour with no results, at this point now I could not even make a phone call! well flashed back to nfsfans rom did a hard reset, downloaded the cab file SPRINT UPDATE PROFILE-PRL. And did the update profile (witch never worked before always gave me error1012 ) and for some reason it worked and everything is a good to go. but now I am woried a little cause on the thread for nfsfans rom He has the directions of installing 2 other cabs one being sprint provision cab, and gps cab. Do i download these cabs or will they put me back in that sh**y position again or will I be fine. If you have done what I have done in the last couple of hours i dont want to really want to have to go through that again. Just wondering dont know if this been discussed before trying to get better picture size for Arcsoft, using this version maybe some registry tweaks for sending size limit and recieving..works fine but really comes in kind of small at times..used this thread as im using this version of Arcsoft hopefully im posting in right place thmxs junkies

preciate the response dash yea they pretty much show pretty small ill try to put a screenie so u can see..everytime i take a picture try to send it it tells me file to big to send..also ive heard about some tweaks that could been done to the programs registry to avoid those promblems and works really good but no luck finding yet..will keep searching thnxs dash
