quick custom rom question, before i go ahead and install a custom rom now i wud like to know which is the best custom rom, im hearin mystery or juicy! what is every1 using?

mystery, juicy, and mighty are all very good roms.... barebonz are also pretty good if your looking for a super clean one.

EnergyROM also hit the Diamond recently

that rom is sweeping a lot of devices and its pretty popular as well as it has a great rep imo

as a matter of fact i think i'm gonna make my own thread about all the roms for diamond and tell people the pros and cons.. not a bad idea...

anyway.. if you wanna know about the pros and cons of the ATR tf3d2 for the diamond check out my last reply

this is wat info i have now... i'm looking for cabs and stuff like that fix the problem but it could be different for you... so don't take my word for all this.. but i still like the ATR rom

it has the HTC feel and very smooth.... fast.... minor probs... just like any other rom..

once you see how easy it is to flash you'll do it often. trust me just pick one and go. if you want to try something else you can switch with very little effort. you can always switch back if you don't like what you're on. DON'T LOOK DOWN JUST JUMP!

I did a search and had a hard time finding the original sprint diamond rom, incase i may have too go back, i saw a few and wasnt sure which was the right one for me

Yeah it can be useful for taking off splash screens that wont come off an when you have to insurance or take your phone in for repair.

so far ive gone through Juicy and Mystery ! i like them both only thing that is boderin me is that i notice i guess when u install custom roms the g-sensor for photos do not work! for example before on manila when i went to my photo tab and clicked a picture it would come out vertical and switch to portrait when i slanted my phone in any direction! i love that feature and perfer it can i get this on customs ? or only stock roms

the photo g-senor only worked with the mighty rom for me, is this common?

i've tried a few... and to be honest they are all built so far with the g-sensor photo viewer but the thing about some roms is that they take longer to process the g-sensor... do you hard reset after every flash?... cause not doing that may also effect the performance of the rom... yep yep... you give me details i give you details... deal... cause so far... i've gone through...

ATR3= Everything you would want your phone to do!!!! i give 8 out of 10 still litle buggy..

Mighty= Hard to get things to work sometimes when soft reseting the phone would lag or recognize certain programs... not all... and it won't allow to use tf3d config... ;( 7 out of 10

Groove= had a few problems just didn't like a few things.. was the first thing i flashed forgot why i left it... ? out of 10

don't take my word for all these it might work differently for you but these are refferences to my experience with roms... and also include that i did use extra cabs to boost performance and cabs to help with files and folders or programs not built in...

im working with juicy right now... it has it all except the damn keyboards.. no damn keyboards at all except the default keyboard... other than that.. it's smooth.. not buggy... may lag a little but real easy to use... definately try it...

Im using might righ now and im about 2 switch, mighty was the only one that the photo gsenor worked on, righ now im lookin for a new rom lol juicy is nice as hell i had it but for some reason the photo gsenor wasnt working!

the pix thing right? that it wont turn with phone?

it'll display pix in landscape though.. yeah man did you ever figure out how to add more keyboards?.. like a .cab without adding the language pack?...

idk man juicy has gone smoother than a lot of rom's i've tried and trust me i've flashed my phone more times than a girls gone wild commercial... lol...

Correct! i love that feature and it only works for me on mighty rom so far! does it work for u on other roms? im about 2 install a new one ina minute

i think the mighty only but i can't remember.. ;(.. i'm happy with the one i just downloaded.. its pretty sick.. but it tweaks and freezes for like a sec but not a bad lag... like other roms...
