you need to pay 10 bucks a month through your provicer that isnt a free service thus why it isnt allowing you to use..... and you have to use your providers version of the telenav cab also...... and also just like any other rom to install since wm2003, start/settings/system/remove programs.

as i told you already get that telenav out of your head... sprint will auto update everytime there is a new version of the SPRINT TELENAV out... they are different and the sprint version you download right over the air on your deivce when an updated is needed. and sprint updater? i have no clue what you are talking about? there is no activator for the gps? and cool cant wait to see what it looks like

The only updater that I know of that comes with the phone is the Update Data Profile and Update PRL, if you need those I will post them for you. Other than that, as D/\sh said, no other updater is needed for Sprint Nav since it AUTO updates OTA:secret:. You will always be up to date with Sprint Navigation. They are different so the versions won't match because it's not the same program. So 5.5 on Telenav probably is the SAME as 2.1 on Sprint Nav, etc. Good luck bro and look forward to your skins

Telenav 5 point 5

I actually have found a version of telenav 5.5 that works just fine. There is no comparing this version to sprint nav 2.1, and I mean NO comparing. This version worked just fine for me without having to install sprint nav first. The only thing you will need is your pin number which I believe should be the last four digits of your phone number (at least for me).

This update includes a new weather option, you can resume a previous trip and several other new features (can't remember right now). EVERYTHING just looks better on a vga screen compared to sprint nav and has a way better color scheme.

If you use the sprint navigation much D/\SH, you'll never go back after using this one. It seems to be a complete overhaul of the program. Almost as good as a stand alone navigation system, if not better than most well w/o the nice big screen.

Re: telenav

yeah ive been running it for a bit now i really like the telenav version better :) and did someone actually think "Windows Update" did something? i thought the only reason they put that there is because otherwise there would be an odd number of icons in the menu. :/
