I have Vista Ultimate, and im not sure why most people don't like Vista, i've never ran into any problems with it, having said that, how's W7 different from Vista, what would be the benefits?

hi much better then vista ultimate i have one to and windows 7 rc its faster now resource hog it looks much better more option the taskbar is redone transparent windows and so much more try the rc out its the last week still free to download and valid untill 2010 you dont now what you mis lol

Maybe ill try it in my old pc, I'll shit my pants if I trash my vista pc which is fairly new

do you have the right specs on your old pc to even run it? and its not hard to do and you wont trash it trust me :)

hi you can run this on older pc but not to old if you make a seperated partition and install on that your vista will be safe have had no isseu doing so and done it more then once

Attached is WINDOWS 7 upgrade advisor.. it will pretty much tell you if what hardware you have currently connected to your PC and what hardware is in your PC is compatible and stable for 7... I will attach to first post as well.. ENJOY!

it's a pentium 3, that originally came with windows 98, less than 512mb of ram, and 80gb of rom, lol with this i doubt i can install it, however, I've had it running Windows XP and now i have a custom OS i found on this site, something "windows lite 7"

i dont think that you have enough ram to run that on.... check out the tool that jew posted above

less than 512 MB of ram? that would mean at most 384MB... I am suprised you were even able to get windows xp on that :P, I would at least upgrade the ram, you could probably beg on the street for 10 seconds and someone would just give you a 256- 512MB stick of ram to throw in there from their old and decaying computer :)
