i have a simple question. Beause before i was planning on going into the store and haveing them flash the phone for me. But the problem is EVEN THO its on there web site that they can do touch pro's, everyone is telling me they tried ( which i doubt they did) and it will not flash to metro service

So what im askin is:

i kno there is guides on this site that tell you how to flash your phone to metro your self, but If i do can i bring that phone into the metro store and tell them

"yea my phone is allready flashed to metro i just want to open up a line"

like can i user the guides here and bring it to the store? or do they have to do it with there program

you can flash and then have them set up your account, i have a sprint phone flashedand runnin it on cricket, i activated it after flashing, im sure metro is the same way, but do your homework before flashin man!!!

ya dude dont worry. beffore i do ANYTHING i allways look up guides and videos. like when i first came here. i was soo afrid to install theams and shit lol.

But cricket is different from metro. like u think you can ask around or somethin? becuase if i can do this im saveing 45 dollars lol ( metro's fee)

oh dont you worry youll get plenty of answers bro, i seen a few experst around here, theyll get wit you in a minute,lol!!!
and, you can flash any rom you want here all you need is the right carrier cabs to get it running for your specific carrier. so flsh, get carrier cab, metro activates! that simple!

wait wait wait. let me try and understand. i just notice u edited ur post.

so from the guides here, i flash the phone

Download a Cab for metro on this site

And take the phone into the store and they should be able to turn it on right?? is that what ur sayin?

when i say follow the steps i mean you gotta follow the steps, first in the process is making sure your phones unlocked, im just givin you a brief overview, im leavin a lot out.
but pretty much the carrier cab gets all your mms and internet working after you flash the rom!
as far as activation you probably wanna activate your phone 1st.

Well the phone is in stock sprint Rom, and im sure i can unlock it with the guides on here.

And u mean activate my phone After i've done all the steps?

im going to call the nearest metro store and ask them if i can turn on a phone thats allready flashed to metro

ok i think im Clear. the lady on the phone told me that they have to take the phone in and find a new ESN number for it if its allready been flashed to metro.

Soo im going to unlock it and flash it to metro. Can someone point me out to the guide Aswell that would be great

i did a search for metropcs and i found it on the top 5 entries..... please use the search feature all you are asking has been discussed about already and easily found on the site if you actually use it.
