so i wake up turn my phone on and my screen is spazing everything is going all over the place im going to try to take a vid or something

what rom are you running?

any theme installs or add ons?

It looks like a manila theme add on is corrupt or fighing with the display drivers.



you probubally need to run a hard reset. or if that fails re-flash.

i had a similar problem with the SSS rom and tsowen's taskbars, i just ran a hard reset to be safe.

i ran that rom without any issues, runs great with tsowen's taskbars, btw.

i'm willing to put money on the theme has a conflict with the rom.

did the problem start after you installed the theme?

heres an idea, it's what i do with my phone.

1. run a fresh install of the rom and all your "must have apps, games, contacts, etc."

2. install swcked backup and run a full backup. a full swcked backup is like running a restore point on your laptop/desktop.

3. install any new apps you want, it they corrupt or mess anything up, you can simply run the swcked back file.

i have a bunch of full backups of all the roms i've flashed in case i want to flash to them again.

thats caused by the touchflo drivers crashing.... for all the kinetic scrolll and such is controlled by that driver and when it gets corrupted it will be bound to do that. some users have experienced a fix with a simple hard reset or flash over of the rom.... for some that doesnt work and you have to go back to stock rom and relock, than aftrwards you can unlock and reflash the radio you had (if you ahd one) and the custom rom onto the device and that should fix the erorrs for good...... i havent heard or seen one that hasnt got a fix from the above and actually experienced this before also besides me. for me what it consisted of was files that were installed to the storage card (done by certain roms by default) were from a different rom and causing conflicts wit hthe registry thus causing the spazz out of the phones display... so you can alwasy try my fix first by taking just your important stuff out from there and than reformatting your card and readding it after you are done.... dont restore any folder or the contents of folders from anything other than ringtones and wallpaers from the my documents, and absolutely nothing fromthe folders named windows and program files on your card....... once completed with that soft reset and see what that does for you... if it doesnt work use the process mentioned above.

ight so far i hard reset the phone samething was still there then i re flashed the phone so far it seems to be good but i think i seen a twich on the screen idk if its my eye playing games with me by the end of the day of using it and try to change the theme as u say ill check back on to give the result

well everything was working but it started back up again but the twiching on the screen is less i will try to go back to the orinal rom and lock to see what happens now if that dont work ill just get a new phone because i have insurence and an upgrade

i flashed it to the original rom then relocked it it look good for a while but came back again i think i give up im going to have to settle for palm pre since the touch pro 2 is far away i have a free upgrade i have insurance but i used it at like the end of june cause my keyboard did not work idk if its 2 soon to ask for another phone

1 month is too long to wait? if you want to stay with wm i would wait it out since it is actually under 30 days.... or try the pre and than go to the pro 2 since you have 30 days hahahahaha now thats thinking. (if you dont want to keep the pre since it is a good device also.)

thats true i forgot it came out in September but that is a ill idea i might try that out just hope i dont get stuck wit the pre lol thx for that

no problems and i was sooo suprised i thought of that at that time of night, i was our right afterwards with the computer on my lap still hahahahaa
