Stock Task Manager gone
 

Would it be possible to get a download link for the stock task manager for the HTC Touch pro. The current one posted is no longer available

1st off u posted in the wrong section, this question was intended for the Touch Pro and not the TOUCH. 2nd what happend to ur Stock Task Man?? is it not included in the current rom ur running ??

I installed QuickStart start menu and its gone. and this is the touch pro section isent it?. The Tread right before this is pertaining to the TP

Actually No u didnt u posted in the touch section i went ahead and moved the post for u to the correct section. as for ur question yes u can turn on the task manager, i havent used quickstart for a while so i dont remember anything other then go into quick start options and edit the setting and if that doesnt work go into ur phone settings and go to task manager and turn it on, sorry if my answers not so exact but im without a phone at the moment so its hard to remember stock settings and custom..

Thanks for the help and moving the post. I will look into it again but I have looked through the options many times and have not seen anything like that. I had found a thread regarding this same problem before and their was a file to download for the stock task manager. Because it had not been used for so long it had been removed and no longer available for download.

if u already tryed this : settings -> System -> Task Manager -> Button [ ENABLE QUICK MENU ON TODAY SCREEN ] and it isnt working for u then idk what to say.. ill try to look for the cab file but i havent found it so far..

Ummm... i dont understand how installing quick menu made your task manager disappear... i install quick menu all the time and nothing ever disappears because of it...

also if you was in the thread for the stock task manager and noticed link was no good, why didnt u ask there for it to be reupped? just a lot easeir for staff and to keep the boards clean if you could do that as opposed to startin a whole new thread about it... a it stand now i dont know what thread you were reffereng to, to go look at it...

as far as quick menu, it has a task manager built into it... but if that isnt cuttin it, there are many third party task manager u can download that get the job done great... some better than the stock task manager... just do a search here on the site for that

Are you sure the stock task manager disappered tho... u check the start menu>settings ... it should at least be in that menu...

yeah this used to happen to me when i was running the vogue and i added quickmenu and then took it off it would make my task manager disappear try this....
