damn i was stuck at work and the loss again  i swear we do horrible on the road and especialdly in mexico where we are what 0-19-1 or something all time in mexico city..... the 5-0 game wasnt with the usa starters so too me that one really doesnt matter too much besdies with it being 5 goals in the 2nd half w=hich gave mexico the momentum they needed to win on top of the huge home field advantage that themexican fans give their club..... congrats to mexico and hopefully usa will learn how to play on the road beofre the cup starts.

Re: Mexico beats USA AGAIN

Whatsup with that??? Mexico has a little squad this year. It's good to see, because it's been a while for them to take out the USA. Now can they get us next year in the World Cup???... we shall see. I don't think so, because they're players are great, but size has some to do with play on the field and they usually don't have any size.
I'll be chanting USA, but you know Brazil is going to come out strong just like they do every Cup.

I agree with Dash the starter aspect. That's not to take away from Mexico's winning. USA struggled at 1st in the Confederations Cup, but came back strong and almost beat Brazil in the end... unfortunately we were not victorious. Next year for World Cup is around the corner :)

Yea. It seems though that Mexicans have a very strong pride for there heritage. I mean, thats good and all, but they came here for a reason. I dunno, I'm trying to not sterotype, but I'm just being observant. Maybe the OP can chime in.

Its has something to do with pride.Just like here in Philly. The P.R parade when north philly get stupid crazy and all cops from all district is working Overtime to cover the street. And the Dominican and Iris parades.Even though they live in the states but the prides takes over when our culture is doing something for them self. And that includes sports

Lets say ppl born and raised here in the US and US was a poor country like mexico -south africa -cuba-etc ,and u guys had to leave the state to make money like lots of mexicans -cubans -dominicans etc,now being that u guys are over seas and u see the USA wins the world cup wouldnt u be happy as well ?Hope that makes sense.

hold on dash, you seem tom have things a little bit twisted bro, just because they live here doesnt mean they are legal, so hence they cheer for mexico, or any other country. and dont tell me, ohh, i gotta cheer for my people, cause if you are a citizen, then U.S.A . are your people. think about, if we were at war with any country, and you live here but are from that country, then you better cheer for us, we pay for your bills! lol. and the crazy thing is that the real mexicans( in this case) dont like the mexicans that are borned here, lol. and you cant called me racist cause im BROWN, watcha watcha, lol.

see that's the thing that i don't understand, but I think it has to do with cultural differences, I'll explain. In peru just like in any country, live people from other countries, let say brasil, argentina, colombia, ecuador. When there's a soccer game between my country and these other countries, people gather to support their national teams in bars or restaurants, and here's how things are over there: Just because they live in Peru it doesn't mean they're supposed to support Peru, no matter how the country's been good to them, if they make a lot of money o things like that. If i was to ask let say a Brazilian residing in Peru how come he's not cheering for Peru, the answer I'd get be: "are you f#$@ retarded or something?" lol seriously it'd be actually embarrasing/stupid to ask such a question(that's how it actually feels overthere). No one, absolutely no one would find a Brasilian living in Peru, to be wrong about supporting his national team, that actually feels pretty damn right for him to do, but that's how we see and feel it overthere, al least in S. America.
