T-Mobile TP2 MyFaves App
 
Hello, I am new to T-Mobile as well as the Touch Pro 2. I was wanting to try WM6.5 on it however I was curious if you know of a stand alone app to get the MyFaves to work on a custom rom?? I know T-Mobile has been out of the Win Mo game for the past few years but I refuse to believe it is not out there somewhere. I did a search and was unable find anything. If you have any suggestions that would be a big help. Thank You in advance for your replies!

If you are looking for a 6.5 TP2 rom we won't have anyhere yet. You are GSM and 95 percent of the roms here are CDMA. If you gonna find a rom anywhere it would be over at XDA they are GSM based over there.

you would have to go to xda to get the roms since they are gsm based like you and we are cdma... all apps,games, etc are universal though and are selection has different than theres and some of the same so be sure to come back to us for all your apps and games needs.

well to attempt to answer your question... i dont know too much about tmobile, but i believe the my favs thing they have over there is more of a feature, and not an app, kind of like having unlimited data... those contacts u set for your my favs would still be free to use regardless of the rom... as I dont use Tmobile i do not know if there is some sort of setting interface for the my favs feature, which you may need to change your selection... i did a quick search but havent found anything like that... but as you said, with tmobile out of winmo game it may not have been ported yet, but with them getting the tp2... i say, give it a lil time... as the developers begin to rip the apps from stock rom, chances are, thatll be relaesed soon enuff...

you are right on that my faves will still work as long as you pay for that plan

your myfaves will still be free but you just wont have the plugin on the homescreen for it with the pictures... no big deal really sine they are still going to be free
