Free Air Raves
 

I hear that Sprint is handing out free Air Raves through their customer retention right now. If you don't have top notch service in your house, call Sprint and tell them that you are canceling your service because you get no signal in your house. Chances are you'll get setup with an Air Rave free of charge.

yeah why have no signal period when you can have full even though in 1x at all times....

agreed... iwalk in my house i get 7 bars....always.... which i need calls to come...outside i get 7...but my crib is the dead zone...inside no airave thick walls i get no to 1 bars....airave i get full so its a plus..being on call and my cells my nly line...much needed..

Sorry for the old news. I have had mine for a while as well, but I just heard that they were giving them away. I got mine free because my brother managed a Sprint Store, but I didn't realize that they had been handing them out until I was told recently. I find that it boosts my data on the phone big time as well. I used to have to go outside to make a call, so totally worth it if you have bad service indoors.

IMO i feel sorry for customers when i tell them it is 99$ to have full service in their house...sprint should have just come out and gave them out for free from the start...

You guys ever have trouble with bad connections or echos? Im in the boonies and my internet is unreliable, so sometimes people that iam talking to tell me they hear echos, and pauses. Anyone know i there was a firmware update for this thing?

All about being persistent. They can't afford to loose your business. You tell them you get no service at home, and are going to drop them. Ask them why you should have to pay 4.99 a month to get what you are already paying for.

i got mine recently for free too, but have not installed it yet since my old linksys rouster is not compatible, i ordered a new router and still wating for it to come. They did charge me $50 for the unit and $5 for activation but it was given back as credit towards my next bill, hence free :)
