Windows Mobile Build 23037 and 23047 23412 NEW16/09
 

Recently we presented you with a screenshot gallery of Windows Mobile 6.5 build 23034. That's the strange new iteration of Windows Mobile that shrinks the top notification bar and places the Start button down in the bottom bar. Those that have been using the platform for the past decade may find this strange considerating that the Start button has always resided up top. In this video, we give you a closer look of the new design paradigm as shown on a Touch Diamond2 from a ROM from XDA.

new build New Contacts App in WinMo 6.5 Build 23412

Another day, another new Windows Mobile 6.5 build. This time, in build 23412 (via XDA) we see that the contacts application is being revamped, which is good considering that this part of the operating system hasn't changed much in nine years. As always, we expect that many design aspects of this app will continue to evolve and become more refined.

good news and damn i dont like that myself...... makes the whole look of the phone (especially at bottom) look pieced together and uncomplete..... the bar is still there on the top so why not leave it instead of jamming it down by the soft buttons and creating that mess... this is just my personal opinion and going to make a write-up about this and plasce in my blog so stay tuned for that guys.

he bro think its not bad its about prefrence but it is strange thy are changing this still you got point now the corner is empty when its normal looking more finish then this ohwell let see how it all ends up when its final rom cooker can always change it back also wil check out that blog

good looks on checking it out ill let you know.... .going to cover the pros and cons that i can see already without messing with it....... and the thing that gets me is that they are trying to polish there old ui and not just rebuild.... as obama says its time for a change and i feel he was talking to microsoft along with the people as a whole hahaha

Hmm I don't think i like that lay out they have. Then I like at first when clicked on the task bar and it came with that drop down of icons to pick from. But then he clicked volume and it took up the whole screen and it was super simple look to it.. Then Start button at the bottom along with everything you click you a ton more buttons options. looks like made to many. They need to keep it simple an clean. I hope that build is not the final lol.

the reason it jumped all the way to the left is because he was replacing the far right one..... dont understand what concept is so hard to get there.

i was running one of the SsS beta with that new built and i loved it, unfortunately Deck went back to an old build in his latest release.

now this is what im talking about!!! no more coverups and go straight to the native apps.

now if in the next couple of weeks they show a sign that they are reworking the file explorer and email app, (calendar perhaps?) im going back to winmo (maybe LMAO)

he bro yeah lets hope so i mean most of the basic wm funtion like explore contacts settings have bin the same for years so the reskin an rework it is good way lets hope treu all the device and make a good wm6.5 final and even a better wm7

i have to agree and yea that new contact interface is pretty bad ass :)
