touch pro 2 worth getting
 

is the touch pro 2 worth getting i wana get an unlocked one but cheapest i can find is around $630.00...if anyone has it or knows alot about it please let me know if its worth buying thanks.

I surely don't have the touch pro 2, I only have the ordinal touch pro but I have been reading a lot of material on the reviews for the touch pro 2. In my opinion $630 is a little much for a phone that still has some improvements that can be made to it. It's definitely a major step up from the original touch pro but not worth that much money in my opinion, what do you guys think?

what provider are you through right now? if your with t-mobile and have been on contract for 1 year or close you can get the touch pro 2 for 150 bucks till the end of the month if not mistaking.... hell of a deal and same goes for new subscribers.

I got to say, I love my TP2!!! I've had my Telus TP2 for 2 weeks without any problems! And i mean ZERO problems.
I have done a few tweeks ive found from sites here and there and NOT ONE FREEZE! GPS now works great, changing themes without problems(just a few to name). Smooth as Hell!!!
I will agree that the price is a little steep but i have been saving for some time. So far it has been worth it.
With the unlock just around the corner, its only going to get better with all the chefs out there!
I have no regrets buying it and am loving the larger screen and keyboard. I hummed and hawed for 3 days before buying but really happy with my choice.
It comes down to this i think most people are having a problem with............DO YOU WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY PUNK! DO YA!!!!

check your provider they must have some good deals ... otherwise check TMo by far they have a good deal as DASH mentioned

Wow even though i have sprint I'm tempted to switch to t-mobile for a month to get the phone for only $150......thats great!!!

you know that the phone is gsm and wont work with sprint so what do you mean for a month?

i don't know much about unlocking phones for different providers, but are you able to get a cdma tp2 and have it work on sprint?

i think it's possible as long as the phone works in the cdma network

technically you can get the canadian version to work but good luck getting sprint to add the esn to their system since it isnt even released for them as of yet.

I agree with CyberWeesje. i am getting 3 days with moderate use. 2 with a little heavier.

I wonder if it is going to be the same for the CDMA version as for some reason GSM phones get better battery life then CDMA phones?

Oh not WCDMA, CDMA its wirless technology that some carriers use on this side of the pond.
