September 25 2009: S2P v073 - beta
 

New version of S2P is out guys!!! A_C re-wrote it to avoid a lot of the scrollong errors that were occurring in different devices. Give it a try and see what you think, he has a few really cool tweaks in it this version:

S2P is a stylus-free MP3/MP4/AAC/WMA music player. It simply lets you browse your music files & play.

It's been 9 months after the last release of S2P. Since the "Album View" is still buggy & the "Playlists" is still not ready, I release this version as a "beta". Other than that, all other functions are workable & more practical than the old version. So, enjoy!

Prerequisition:
- WM5 Phone or WM6/6.1/6.5 Professional devices (with built-in Windows Media Player)
- free RAM: at least 3M

- temporarily disabled the "Album View" & "Playlists".
- added option to set/refresh the music library.

- added more views to play or shuffle songs; an artist's songs or albums.
- added option to play album by album randomly - "Shuffle Albums".
- added support to MP4/AAC as long as the device already has the corresponding WMP decoder.
- faster startup.
- AVRCP no longer requires WMP running in the background on some HTC devices (read the FAQ for details).
- a lot of enhancements made on the user interface.
- a lot of minor bugs fixed.

- added "On-The-Go" playlist to edit your favourite music playback.
- added support to ASX playlist & M4A music file.
- added option "PowerTweak" to allow non-interrupt music playback even when power button is pressed.
only turns it on (set to 1) if your device stops music playback when power button is pressed.
- fixed a few errors when playing playlist.
- a few minor bugs fixed.

I did notice that his previous version was causing some problems on TP2 but i think i'll wait until album view is added. That is one of the main reasons i used it was for album view.

OMG, excitement!!!

installed/Updated over previous in seconds. After setting my Library to /Storage Card/My Music/ is scanned for about 2mins and then took 30 secs to display album art .

After that i was off and running.

- Smoother rotation of the album art when switching to "album content" view, and less font distortion

-Instead of goin to previous album, S2P displays the Library when sliding finger across screen from right to left.

- Scrolling through songs list is soooo much smoother, perhaps due to a smaller font.

- LOVE the new option for suffle folder, or shuffle all!

So far thats all ive noticed, always happy to see a new release from A_C! :)

New version of S2P is out guys!!! Actually a couple, but 0.71 had a few big bugs so A_C followed up with 0.72 soon after. Still no landscape or album flow, but A_C has made definite references to including them in future versions......really looking sweet guys!!!

- temporarily disabled the "Album View".
- added support to Playlists (M3U & PLS); on the very first run, please press "More"->"Set Library" to read the playlists.
- when not playing the whole library (e.g. selected songs from an artisit or album or playlist),
the slide actions or keys to goto the next album will only goto the next song.
- fixed the system hang issue on some devices.
- fixed occasionally the Songs list only contains a single album.
- a few minor bugs fixed.

Ohhhh, a new release!
Very nice, i havent tested the playlists on v072 yet. So i supposed there is no reason for me to update.

Though im just as happy to see the program continually develop to become better! :-)

Installed dash works great but looks like it dont belong on the tp2 the album picture blurry ,
