What is new from the last version 6.33:

* The application is completely touch friendly
* In the folder view you are able to see three thumbnails of the pictures in the folder
* You can view the GPS position from the picture in google maps or using your browser
* You can add your actual GPS position to a picture
* Send to SMS, MMS, E-mail
* Upload to Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, Twitter
* Select album where to upload, add comment and GPS position
* Edit Mode in view
* Contrast and Gamma adjustment
* Adding Notes from a dialog
* View Notes and GPS from Exif (or add to Exif if not present)

Options dialog:

* Start In Folder
* Auto-Hide Scroller
* Auto-Hide Tools
* Document Mode (for comics and fax reading)
* Send\Upload Settings (predefined send size and other settings ...)
* Associate All Formats
* View Mode (Details, Icons, Icons + Names, Icons + Details)

* Audio Slideshow
* Exif and IPTC tags
* About dialogue is added
* Facebook connection
* Enlarge small images in Settings
* Favorites are remembered
* Buttons for next previos image in fulscreen
* Thumbnail view bugs
* GPS location viewing and saving
* Select All button was added to the File Association
* G-sensor handled actions are correct
* Toolbar icon's text are moved a bit lower
* Camera starts with its highest resolution
* Animated Gifs are played automatically and in loop

And few more settings requested by Beta testers are added and many of the Bugs were fixed

Things that are not (or fully) functional:
* Create Album
* Save Picture As
* Save Notes to Exif
* Drawing

What is new: BETA 5

* Slideshow bug was fixed
* Bug when reaching the last picture in fullscreen was fixed
* Setting picture as Homescreen was fixed (now works also on WM 6.5 and covers also top and bottom bar)
* ASCI... text in Exif was fixed (removed)
* Double tap on small picture (if the setting Enlarge Small Images) zooms it to fit the screen, another will unzoom it to 100%

* gamma correction - fixed and working
* more settings (requested by some of you)
* more intuitive and better working upload
* improved memory (RAM) usage
* quicker loading (displaying) of thumbnails


I have gotta say that the 2 minute session I had playing around with this was a great 2 minutes. I'm loving this app and I can see this will be my primary photo viewer. I have not had the chance to see if any issues pop up, because don't forget it is Beta. Again, I will say from what I have seen... it's been all good.

I would appreciate it if I can have an Admin or Mod (since I can't do it :) make the title say "Resco Photo Viewer 7.00 Beta". Basically, add Resco, since that is the where it came from ;) Thanks.

wcked posted in a discussion area/news that it was coming and be on the look out (I posted in that thread letting them know it has been released as well). This is the actual program, thanks for looking out though.

I have been playing with this off and on throughout the day and it has been a great program, especially for Beta. Very responsive and quick. I am going to have to say this is the best Photo Viewer I have used on my TP2. HTC Album wasn't a bad program, but it was slow and not as responsive. This program covers that ground and gives some extra capabilities you won't find with HTC Album or many of your other viewers. It is Touch optimized and Sensor capable. Let me know your thoughts, thanks.
