what do you mean work? it doesnt come locked on the verizon tp2 rfrom what i have heard in announcements all over the net.... what are you trying to connect to gps program wise?

Google Maps...just keeps searching for satellites.

Dash just a quick question for you. I used to have the Verizon Tough VX6900 and downloaded a program you posted which overclocked the processor...anything like that available for the TP2?\

there is but there isnt.... no2chem is making something that should work on the touch pro 2 or be converted to one soon..... so as of right now no there isnt one but Wckediden will be one of the first places to make that available for you when it is released.

Will the xm radio and MobiTV cab for my Touch device work for the TP2?

No they will not , different screen resolutions...

Well I use VZ Navigator and you have to set your phone to allow 3rd party apps to locate you.

- Go to Settings/phone/ CDMA Services

- Select Location Settings and then Get Settings...

- Make sure LOCATION ON is selected.

I hope that helps. I haven't tested it with Google maps or live search, but it worked with vz navigatior.
