[ ISSUE SOLVED ] Y aint my phone unlocking
 

Hey guys it me ok so here is my story my girl just got a new refurb tp bc her other one stopped working ,well i cant unlock this one it keeps giving me a 262 error ?It says "the rom update utility has encountered communication errors during the update process"?Any ideas Wckediden thanks ive tried lots of things before making this thread and nothing

i was having the same problem with my wifes tp... when using the unlocker dont put it into bootloader just leave it at the home screen run the unlocker it will put it into bootloader and then it will unlock.... witch unlocker r u using just to make sure?

did you change your pc's os? I had a similar problem running Windows 7. I unlocked my TP running vista and switched to 7. I got a refurb and 7 was a pain. I had to jump on the wife's laptop running vista and it worked without any issues.

And nah bro just weird how i couldnt unlock it until i tried what dj told me to do and it unlocked it been trying this for 3 days lol finally said ill ask Wckediden thanks again guys

the only reason i know that is because i was having the same problem... it took me awhile to figure out that. but im glad it work and also that u asked... because Wckediden nor i mmind helping out
