VCast for Verizon Touch Pro 2
 

I keep hearing that the TP2 for Verizon doesn't support Vcast, but nothing I've read says why. Does the TP2 just not have the hardware to support it, or is it just a matter of a software upgrade (since it's running wm 6.1)?

i would say upgrade since the imagio that just came out has the same hardware besdies better camera and no keyboard and one extra button on phone and the .01 inch scren difference.... the internals are all the same and that phone is capable.... when the official 6.5 rom i released for verizon im sure it will be on there since it will just make them more money.

I hope so. It really wouldn't make sense for them not to, especially from a money stand point like you said. I hope they release a new rom soon, or at least hard spl so we can get some modding going on. I'm getting kind of bored lol.

When i can get the rom dump of the imagio, ill try to make a cab for vcast. Someone is trying to dump the rom right now for me, i hope everything goes right!

The guy is uploading the .raw files to rapidshare right now should be ~20 minutes till its done, then im going to convert the .raw files to .nbh and post the .nbh. Ill also be dumping the .nbh with VK so we can have a stock kitchen to take things from and to get ready for when ever we get the hardspl!
Ill post them both in a new thread
