Hey All Smartphone Junkies From Nebraska
 
Just wanted to say hey to all you smartphone junkies that are new and old members. I am a nOOb on here as we are called but I have been in I.T. for 12 years and have only had my smartphone since December of 08'. I own an HTC Touch Pro Service provided by Alltel 1 day away from being Verizon completely. I live in Omaha Nebraska and as many perceive Omaha to be cornfields I assure you it is not. Omaha is a decent sized city with a population of over 600,000 People and a IT dominated environment. We have many headquarters out here including Paypal (and eBay company) , Union Pacific, West Corporation amost quite a few others. Anyways......... Looking forward to being a part of this Bright group of individuals at least I am sure most of you are bright. :disdain:

Side note: I think having to make 80 posts before being able to download is asinine. What a waste of valuable web space. You will get people making pointless post just so they can download stuff. XDA, PPCGeeks, PPCKitchen, Etc. do not require that so tell me why you do?

welcome to Wckediden, Unfortunately those site you mentioned are being ran by different site owners and as such we are different, in the way we run our site.You didn't read line #10 in the introduction page correctly.This site is generally a mobile review and tweaks site and not a development site.There are freeware programs available at your disposable.But Wckediden like to reward those members that contribute to Wckediden posting relevant information, sharing there reviews and more..at the post counts is a reasonable amount to reach, unless you're not social person and beings that you registered in dec of 08, and took you a year to post an introduction, then you'll never get there.We have staff that monitor the forum for any pointless posting as you refer.We've been running this forum for a long time to know how to manage it.

You've come into the best site for modifications, themes, applications, software, movies, and knowledge for your PPC or electronics in general; take your time, look around and enjoy! If you READ the NOOB GUIDES and the RULES, you should be able to figure things out. Click on SHOW SIG button (towards the bottom left of every post) for more help. There is a SEARCH link at the top of EVERY page.
We have a very helpful staff here; but there are NO PMs to Admins / Mods / Staff asking "how do .........." because there are threads for that.

Don't forget to hit THANKS (bottom right of every post) if someone helps you. Saying "Thanks" in your reply is great, but that button is quicker.

This is the best site for just about all your smart phone needs ... as a result of the high expectation of contribution, you will get things that are beyond the buggy and basic testing phase...so its very much worth it.
