does the 3.5mm headphone jack support headphones with the mic built in. As in call. Can i talk to someone through that port? can anyone confirm this? I wanna buy a set of headphones for it. but unsure if mic would work for a call. if not no point in having a mic and I'll get straight headphones.I cant test cause my pro2 is in transit. Trying to get stuff ordered so it shows up soon after..

didnt the touch pro headset come with microphone? i could use the tp adapter with that and that should give us the answer correct?

na cause the head phones for tp are usb connection. i wanted to exploit the whole 3.5mm headphone jack ...

good call and mine dont come with headphones that have a microphone..... lets see if i can find a pair at work tonight and i will test that out.... i think the person that i work with carriers them around.

i found out while listening to music, recieved a call picked it up and they can hear me. these were regular sony headphones they have no mic at all. ur tp2 is the actual mic so the closer it is to u they can hear u. u can also connect to ur car radio if u have an aux input and they hear u great.

Yeah I know that much, but I figured since they were advertised to work with the tp2, it would mean that the tp2 supports headphones with mics. I was only trying to help anyway.....

Hmm i see what u mean kaos, it is a good question, I bought the bose headsets with the built in mic and they work on the iphone thru the 3.5mm jack of course. I dont see why it wouldnt work on the tp2.

I know right! All for a freakin mic.... One of the guys atthe Verizon store was saying those Bose headphones are nice.....really exspensive....but nice

i got some of the above myself and love them... crystal clear for both sides and diminishes a lot of the background noise going on.
