Despite the Motorola Droid and HTC Droid Eris being on the sales floor for just under a week, it appears that Verizon is preparing a software update for each. The OTA revision, which is rumored to hit on December 11th, is said to correct a number of known software issues with the two devices. I have to give credit to Verizon - instead of letting the issues spread, they're taking proactive steps to fix the reported problems.

glad to see that verizon is doing this the right way and saying that they are aware of the problems and are getting them fixed and patched in a timely manner.... if more companies starting to do this people wouldnt be as angry at the customer service people since the products work correctly..... also lots less calls thus less people thus less money :)
