The Pixel 9 Pro is the small Android phone Ive been waiting for
 

If youve read any of my many reviews here at Android Authority, youll know I like a small phone. Youll know I appreciated devices like the base Pixel 8 and iPhone 15 because they would fit comfortably in my hand (and pocket) and let me go about my life without feeling like I had a tablet in my pocket.

But youll also know that smaller phones almost always come with compromises, like ditching a telephoto sensor, trimming a few gigabytes of RAM, or capping the charging speed — minor cuts that limit the overall experience. I always had to give something up to keep a phone I liked in my pocket, at least until Google launched the Pixel 9 Pro.
