The new slate comes with 128GB storage for $500, double what its predecessor had. This is for the Wi-Fi only model, but there is also a Wi-Fi+Cellular version available for $650. If you need more storage, 256GB and 512GB options are available as well. The key upgrade is the Apple A17 Pro, aka the iPhone 15 Pro chipset but with some downgrades.
