• “Besties” in Contacts may soon give you a new way to identify your closest friends.
• While we find multiple references throughout the app, right now nothing’s functional.
• Subsequent strings point to this feature actually being called Pixel Besties.

Update, November 6, 2024 (10:05 AM ET): We previously reported on the so-called Besties or Pixel Besties feature in the Contacts app. Now, we’ve managed to uncover a screenshot that gives us more info about the feature. Check it out below.
