The Galaxy S24 just accomplished something Samsung hasn’t done since 2018

• The Samsung Galaxy S24 was one of the top ten best-selling smartphones in Q3 2024, according to Counterpoint Research.
• This is the first time since 2018 that a Galaxy S flagship phone made the Q3 top ten list.
• The top-selling Android phone was the Galaxy A15 4G, but the top three spots were otherwise dominated by iPhones.

Counterpoint Research has just revealed its list of the top ten best-selling smartphones of Q3 2024, and it looks like Samsung has a couple of reasons to be happy with this report.

The tracking firm reported that the Samsung Galaxy S24 made the list, albeit in tenth place. That’s still a notable result, as no Galaxy flagship phones made the list in Q3 2023.
