• Roku has announced a deeper integration of The Roku Channel with Google TV, making its free streaming service more accessible.
• The update allows Google TV users to search for Roku content, resume watching, and discover recommendations directly from the home screen.
• Over 500 free ad-supported streaming channels from The Roku Channel will be added to Google TV’s “Live” tab.

Roku is expanding its reach within the smart TV ecosystem by improving access to its free streaming platform, The Roku Channel, on Google TV. The update, rolling out in the coming weeks, will allow users to search for content from The Roku Channel directly on the Google TV home screen.
