Flashlight App {works on Mogul}
title says it all. click the exe to turn on and off or map to a hard button like i do in my video.

How are you mapping it to a hard button? When I pull up the buttons option and choose a button that I want to map it to, flashlight isn't an option on the program drop down list.

Yes, I've reset several times now. Still not on the drop down list.

did you install the app???? also jsut search for nilisco flashlight on google and you will find.

Alright, got it figured out. Only had the .exe file....once I got the .cab file and installed it was visible....

the exe works fine..you manually copy it into the windows/startmenu directory...Or as i did i just copied it into windows being i used ae button mapper to key it to my com button on the side of my mogul.

i can't figure this out. i downloaded to my compute it won't let me run it. its says its not a valid win32 app. then i copied to the windows device. i tried to run it in phone nothing is happening. lost :(

OK hold the phone, please. im getting the same promt about win32, so how do i copy into the windows/startmenu directory? in my mogul or in my pc? can you just give me a step by step please im a total noob. theres so much cool stuff i want to do to my phone but i dont understand the jargon so im restricted to .cab files cuz there so easy to install please help! how about showing me how install .exe files period? please thanx

look in my signature at the noob guide it tells you how to install cab files........... all you do is connect to activesync or mobile device center and than run the exe on your computer and your golden and ready to go.

Hi, maybe im doing this all wrong but when i try to run it the error about win 32 comes out. ive coppied it to my pc then try to run it and i still get the promt. maybe it has to do with where im coppying the file. i cant find the start menu directory so i coppied it to a folder on my desktop. please correct me.

does this work on the touch? it seems only the mogul but i found this in TOUCH MODS STAFF'S FAVS (was D/\SH'S touch mods) UPDATED 8-1-08

no im sorry i forgot to take that out it wont work because the touch does not have flash.

the light is working for me but i cant turn it off. I have to do a soft reset to turn the light off. can somebody help me

Not working. I hit the icon and it stays on. I even close all programs and it still stays on. I tried two or three different files, every one is in exe. Is ther a cab, or a barcode?

Hi,
Tried the flashlight.exe and it didn't work for me. Found another one called nuelight that had a cab and it works great. I just hold the button down and the light comes on, very bright, and stays on until I release the button. Everyone on this site is awesome. Thanks for all of your hard work.
