Default Can't access/run messaging!?

Earlier today I downloaded and installed the phoneAlarm v1.64. Ever since then I have not been able to open my messaging at all (email, text). Tried through every way I can think of shortcuts, menus but nothing. I uninstalled the phoneAlarm v1.64, and nothing, I did a soft reset and nothing. So, I backed up my phone with the newest version of Sprite (making sure to even exclude the cab for phoneAlarm v1.64). When I ran the backup I got a message saying "could not backup a folder called 'Inbox.mst29901604.2782057216' (I dont even know what that is), so I did a hard reset, tested the messaging upon restart and it worked but I then used the Sprite restore. Everything went back just the way it was supposed to, but again I still couldnt access or run the messaging, and I found this Inbox.mst29901604.2782057216 folder on my storage card....

I am lost..... I need my messaging for work so I'm screwed right now, as I can not even receive them either......

Worst case, as long as I can use Sprite to backup only my contacts, and I could manually reinstall everything else, ugh....... but my noobness shining through here.... I dont know how to do only my contacts......

Please save me......
